Can some of you guys and gals give me an idea as to the job market in your area. I am currently retired so I don't even know what's going on in my own area here. Started working flea markets again, so should be able to get somewhat of a feel from talking to people.

You do not show a location Tim so you could be anywhere in the world. Why would you want work if you're retired ?

OK. I live in New Jersey, USA. I am interested in the job market for investment reasons. And yes, I am retired and getting a state pension plus social security. But both these flows of income depend on government: state and federal. I worry about both. Both state and federal pension systems depend on cash flow into the fund. If people are not getting jobs and paying into the systems, the systems break down. That is why I am asking about the current job market. I also have an interest in what kinds of jobs are out there. Are they paying a living wage? I really don't like what I am seeing.
