Wow o Wow Tate was awesome he was funny and had an awesome laugh..... And of course he has a fantastic body I gave him a five and that is good for me for a solo I sure hope he comes back for more scenes......:thumbup1:::smiley-sex011::thumbup:

I like this guy...oh yeah, he's a keeper. Seems like a good guy to hang out with and if Facebook is any indication, Broke Straight Boys likes him too. Since we know he already likes to fuck an ass, I'd say give him someone like Brandon to get things started. Also, am I wrong, but I don't think that was Clay chatting and filming him? Hope Tate also joins the forum; I'm sure he'll have lots of followers.

Now this is a guy to keep! Beautiful face, killer eyes, nice body and dick and a pleasant and outgoing personality. Hope to see him back real soon. Although not a fan of solos, this one got a 4 from me because of the totality of the package.

It wasn't Clay as cameraman or producer unless he has had a vocal chord transplant. It was a 16:56 scene and we had this person prattle on for almost half of it - I thought it was David Adamson with a new voice - heaven forbid. While I don't mind an interview a tad longer for the initial scene of a newbie, almost half of the entire scene is excessive. If I wanted to know all this, I'd summon Ralph Edwards back from the grave and have him do another installment of This Is Your Life!

I sincerely hope that this is how they plan to direct future scenes. The new camera guy actually seemed interested and actually seemed to direct the model and help him feel more comfortable instead of just saying go on the bed and give us a good show cause we all know how that works out. Tate actually genuinely seems to be a nice guy and I think is a good addition to the Broke Straight Boys stable. I actually hope we keep this new cameraman of the very least the format of this scene. A 4 from me.

There is no doubt that Tate is a handsome guy, but he is not really my type and as a result I was not turned on by this solo. I go for the more boyish look of a kid in his late teens type. Tate said he is 22, but looks older, more along the lines of a Romeo or a Sergio and neither of them is my type either. I guess I am more into the young innocent, twink look, while Tate has the cool confidence of a more mature type, which I can understand is a turn on for some but not for me.

I also did not get into the new camera guy's style. He is certainly more engaging than Clay but he came on a bit strong for his first appearance on Broke Straight Boys I'd love to hear from Mark if he is a permanent replacement for Clay, or an alternate who will also shoot and direct scenes here.

One positive is that the sound was the best that I've heard here, as I actually had to lower the volume which is a first for me on Broke Straight Boys I just wish that I was more interested in the verbal exchange between the two, and that the model was more typical of the Broke Straight Boys type that I've become accustomed to here over the years.

I like Tate! He is my kind of guy. He has movie star looks. Probably could be successful as a fashion model if he could meet the right person and be willing to let them use his body for their pleasure. I have heard that a large majority of actors get started by doing this. One drawback might be his height. He has a nice cock and had a large amount of cum. Looking forward to seeing him with a guy soon.

Really liked Tate. Hot! Hot! Hot! Hope he is around for the long haul on Broke Straight Boys The new cameraman was a bit too chatty, but I really did enjoy his approach, his upbeat interview and his post scene banter to wrap it up. He obviously knows what he is doing. I like Clay, but this new guy is much more my style.

GREAT! The solo jerk off wasn't all that great but believe it or not the interview was great. gave a 4. like to see him in action very soon!

With you Stowe - I'm sorry but the invasive, off-putting, disruptive interviewer made me, and surely Tate, needlessly uncomfortable. Not the BSB2 way. BTW, I thought Tate terrific, sexy and generous is somehow getting through the endless interviewer prattle.

Fascinating, Chase - I felt just the opposite as the aggressive, lengthly seemingly hostile questions turned me off. Somehow Tate made it through (kudos for him).

Thank you Chasdemuth for putting into words my feelings about the new interviewer, "invasive, off-putting, disruptive, aggressive, seemingly hostile" are all good words to describe his style.

Clay is too laid back, seemingly in a valium induced state, whereas David had just the right approach for me, making the boys feel comfortable like he was a "pervy" uncle or something asking personal questions but never coming across as hostile or overly aggressive. I'm really curious to know who this new guy is, (he spoke about paying the model with "his" money) and I wonder if he is the permanent new "host". I hope Mark clues us in on what is happening here.

I would have to imagine that even if Clay's no longer working there, we'll be seeing several more Clay videos as the ones already filmed make their way through the pipeline.

But I agree with you, I'd like to hear from Mark about what's going on. If Clay's gone, I'll miss his dulcet tones.

Tate is a hottie! Beautiful eyes and body. He would be perfect in my view if he would loose the face hair!

Well that was different. lol

I hope that once Mark decides to chime in, that he will give us the name the new director (or the one filling in) prefers to go by in the forum. Robert came up with the name "Matthew" for Clay, before Clay had Mark give us his preferred name. Since Robert went for a biblical name and we already have a Mark, (lol) I think I'll call the new guy "Thomas".

Welcome Thomas! :welcome:

As for the scene itself it will take longtime viewers and Thomas himself a while to get used to the new setup. In a nod to Clay I have to say that I preferred his soft-spoken voice a little better. Not that any of us have any control over that. lol Thomas has a stronger personality on-set. Of course stronger doesn't always equal better... But it could be.

I like Tate much more than I expected to. He does look older than 22 because of all the facial hair and probably a little bit of hard living. I'm sure that working with a bunch of roughnecks laying pipelines all day and cursing up a storm, sharing their rough and tumble life stories...tends to toughen a young guy up quick. lol Having said that, he does have a very nice body. I look forward to seeing what he can show us with other guys.

I was thrilled that Thomas had them do a close-up of Tate's face so we could enjoy his beautiful blue eyes. So many times we've had models with gorgeous eyes, and yet the only way we knew that was by looking at the still pics. If a particular model has especially beautiful or handsome facial features, why not let us see them close-up on video?

I enjoyed getting an interview of Tate that was informative in getting to know him a little better. As has already been alluded to elsewhere, it did drag on too long into the sexual part of the scene. In this case I feel Thomas inserted himself too strongly as a second character into the film. Off-camera and in prepping for the scene, the director I'm sure is very involved in setting the scene and explaining what he wants to see from the models. On camera though I see the role of the director as being more of a background host or narrator of sorts. He introduces the models to the audience, engages them in some conversation to give viewers a glimpse of the models' personalities...and then steps back. Once the clothes come off especially, the conversation should wind down considerably from that point on. Some gentle instruction to change positions and whatnot is fine. After the cumshots are all over I don't mind at all if there is some more conversation after that. Others have said in the past that they wouldn't mind a brief post-scene interview to see what the models thought of it. For those who don't like it, they can simply turn off the video because the sexual part of the scene is over anyway.

I'm sure that Thomas picked up on Tate's worldliness and maturity and knew he could joke around with him more and give him a little bit of a hard time...without offending him or making him nervous or defensive. Of course that tact will not work well with a majority of models who are very nervous first-timers to the business. So I hope that Thomas will be able to read the models' demeanors in the future to be a little more gentle with the questions and instructions for the younger, more nervous type personalities. Even though Tate himself seemed to take Thomas's rapid-fire questioning in stride...some viewers felt that he came on a little too strong here. So sometimes the sensibilities of the viewers are something to be taken into account also.

For me personally there was too much talking throughout the scene for me to be able to focus on and enjoy Tate to the fullest. I still gave it a 4 though. Both Tate and Thomas show promise. lol I don't know if this is Thomas's first Broke Straight Boys scene or not. Since it did give us an introduction to Thomas as well as Tate, I'm happy for that.

I look forward to seeing what Thomas can show us. :001_smile:

Oh please, the new "Director" was like being cornered in a bar by a particularly obnoxious drunk. Really do people want to see half the video filled up with mindless stupid prattle. I liked the guy but I don't know if I can stomach this new guy. If you are keeping him ask him to cool it. I am interested in the guy not the "director"

I had no issues with the interviewer. I do have to say that Tate is not what I usually look for in a model BUT he has beautiful eyes and an infectious laugh. It did not take long for him to start to grow on me and make me want to get to know more about him. He has a beautiful body and I am looking forward to seeing what he is able to do.

Although I wasn't really into this guy's type, I couldn't get over that he worked on the natural gas pipeline in Binghamton NY! That's what my buddy does and he also started his first pipeline job in Pennsylvania! Binghamton is only 56 miles west of me! He's right about the money but, the laborers in this industry (natural gas) are tantamount to "Carnival" people!

I never had a problem with Clay but, this guy seemed to be a bit more "interactive" with this particular model at least!

the first thing I noticed was no production date. don't like that change!
the new guy behind the camera could probing in a less interrogating way. overall, I like that he interacted with tate.
I enjoyed watching tate and getting to know how.
I would like to see how he is with other models.

now in clearer English:
