Mark is usually very good at clarifying things with his postings here. I'm surprised that there is not comment on Clay.
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for the comments/messages so far. I just wanted to chime in to let you all know we hear you loud and clear and we are reading and taking notes from comments on the episode page and on the forum.
We want un-biased comments, so we are staying quiet for a bit so we can get honest thoughts on what you all think of the episode so far. It is true we have many episodes by the director Clay to show, I am happy that we were able to get Spencer Todd back whom you will see more of in less than 24 hrs...
I know I speak for the rest of the staff when I say we truly appreciate you voicing your opinions/thoughts. We would not be here without you, so we love that many of you are vocal to tell us what you want, this is to fine-tune and provide a quality site most everyone here can enjoy. I promise we will bring you more news soon, but for the time being please let us know what else you liked/didn't like about this first scene.
This was another comment from the episode page that I found noteworthy. From Bryce on Tate's episode page:

"hey guys.... we have most of the episodes shot through the end of the year, but we are listening. We'll make sure that when we do the next round of shoots in December for release in January that we get those ass and feet shots that you all are requesting!"
Damn Tampa! Where are you finding all of this information! I appreciate it though!
Tampa has been on Broke Straight Boys for so long he works for Blumedia hahaLOL Betu. It's all hidden in plain sight.

Tampa, I basically agree with you that the longer style interview gives me more insight into who the model is or at least the character that he is portraying on the site. Getting to "know" the model is important to me and one of the things that originally attracted me to Broke Straight Boys, as a "reality style/porn site". However this new director is totally opposite of what I enjoy. I was weaned on David's laid back "bedside manner" but the new guy comes across as aggressive and not friendly or soothing at all to the model or to me the audience.Well Stowe,
Chuck asked for comments and opinions and you gave them. I don't see some of the reluctance to immediately share what is going on behind the scenes of the site as something to get so angry about. Most sites would give members nothing in regards to any major changes. We are fortunate to have a forum in here that allows mgmt to communicate more directly with the membership in regards to possible changes. But just because they can doesn't imply a mandatory obligation to do so at every turn.
I understand that you are among those who prefer shorter interviews before scenes begin. I'm among those who prefer somewhat longer ones depending on the personalities of the models. Though not as long as the one in this scene, for reasons that you and others have already articulated. Standard rote questions about first masturbation experience and first sexual experience can become rather dull also if over-used. If an interview happens to run too long for people who don't like them, there is always the fast-forward button. Just saying...

And I do agree with Stowe that Mark should know and respect his longtime audience by now, and that "we do care" and that this is not just another site to us, and for us to "tune in" and find a totally new voice with no explanation of what happened to the old one is a bit off putting to me. I agree Tampa that "Most sites would give members nothing in regards to any major changes", but to the hardcore loyal dues paying members of Broke Straight Boys this is not just one of "most sites" to us, and to have Chuck post his comments AFTER we asked WTF is going on is a bit insulting.
Amen brother. That is exactly how I feel too. For a relatively new member who has only been here since last February, Betu, you have an "old soul" when it comes to matters of Broke Straight Boys, and the things that are important to me are important to you as well. This is a instance (for me) of "SOLIDARITY" and support to my fellow forum brothers (and sisters) if you will! As long as I have been a member of this site and now have a better understanding of "how it works", it's been clearly established that Blu Media/Broke Straight Boys has made this site something unique by having a Forum where members can discuss scenes, communicate with each other, the models and the staff as well as being encouraged to give feed back in an effort to provide the best entertainment to all that subscribe. That being said, it would make sense to me that members are going to want to know about changes that will impact their viewing pleasure. Whether on a technical, mechanical issue, or otherwise. Granted, how the business is run is only a concern if we are "stock holders" but we're not talking about that here. It's obvious that there are members who've been loyal to the site for a while and this kind of loyalty should be taken a bit more seriously and with (I dare say) respect!
