Really? You make this big, grand announcement about something BIG happening. It would appear that this has been in the works for quite some time and not something thrown together in the last few days. You do a great job getting people ginned up. And then at the 11th hour you decide (note you said decided, not forced to or had to) to redesign some things? Thus, it seems to me that the announcement could have been made and at the same time say you decided to redesign a few things.
This is just more teasing. I have always been supportive of management and staff and the way things are done here at Broke Straight Boys But this quite frankly, small though it might be in the overall scheme of things at Broke Straight Boys, is below both your dignity and ours. At this point, I could care less!

Personally I would wait before something was tried and tested before make an announcement about an announcement. But I'm English so it doesn't matter.

I can certainly see where you are coming from Stowe, but I learned a long time ago to "go with the flow" here. I've learned that not everything that has been promised to us by management has always come to pass as advertised. So I don't sweat it, until it happens in whatever form they give it to us in.
As David used to tell us when we "badgered" him for info about what was coming up, he would tell us that we must show "patients".
(And that is quoted with love and affection to David 
).But I admire your spunk, Stowe my friend. I love people who speak their mind. As I recently mentioned, the forum has become very "agreeable" lately, and I always say that a tad of controversy amps up the level of entertainment here, so while I yawn at the delay in the "big announcement", as someone who has been here forever, I take it all in stride, but I love it when someone voice's their honest opinion on any subject.
