Welcome to the Forum Will. I like Axel, but like you I would love to see, him engaged more. He is one of the few, who has stuck to his guns about only topping, which is such a shame. I understand what you are saying. However, it's like watching the same thing over an over. Why do restaurants have menus? It so that you can order something different from time to time. You may have a meal, but I would get tired of eating the same exact meal day in and day out. I think the site has gone down hill for sometime now. It feels like I am watching the same scenes again and again. The only thing that changes are the models. It is getting boring.

Ok, so here's my 2 cents. Different strokes for different folks. I actually like Axel, and there is something hot about his reservations. I don't really feel the need to bash any of the models or comment on the size of their dick, or tattoos etc. if I don't like a certain model, I don't watch their scenes. The only recommendation I would make is more diversity. I wish there were more Black, Latin and Asian models on this site.

Wow! This thread was started eight hours ago and now has seventeen replies. Am I in a time warp and is this 2006? lol
In the "good old days", threads mushroomed and often had pages and pages of replies after being started when the members really cared. Nowadays, "Gay twink A" rims and fucks "Gay model B", and two threads will appear, one with the name of the scene and the other started by a member living in an alternate reality with a title out of Greek mythology or 1970's straight porn, but typically neither thread gets much traction with no more than a small handful of replies until the next scene of "gay twink C" comes out as he rims and fucks "Gay twink D", so I am pleased to see the forum alive with several new posters as obviously this subject of Axel struck a chord in many.
And I quoted kopguy19406 as I find it telling that he thinks this forum is a "bum fuck message board that no one in management ever reads". Man has the world of Broke Straight Boys and the forum gone topsy turvy as time has marched on.
As far as the subject matter of Axel, while I typically agree with Bob that we need more guys on the straighter side of the spectrum here as the great majority are professional gay models shuttled by their agents from site to site to site, and there is no sense of reality as we no nothing about these guy's lives, etc. But where Axel may be the "real deal" of a guy on the straighter spectrum of the Kinsey scale, he is not a great performer and he has also been shuttled from site to site. I do buy the same thing over and over eating out. I have the thing I get at burger places, the thing I get at pizza places, etc. When I'm choosing what I want why not consistently get what I like? I will repeat that I am no longer a fan of Axel's for various reasons, however I do agree with your basic premise Prodigal.
Truth be known, as a "historian" of Broke Straight Boys and this forum, I am seeing remarkable parallels in the comments here regarding Axel to those regarding Jimmy Johnson during the "year of Jimmy" back in 2011. My position then and now is that ALL fans of Broke Straight Boys do not have the same desire to see only mutual kissing, sucking and fucking, and some of us are turned on by a guy who proclaims and perhaps overstates his straightness and does not want to kiss, suck dick and certainty to get fucked by a guy.
Perhaps Axel as with Jimmy is appearing in too many scenes in too close proximity to one another, but I do believe that Broke Straight Boys should have at least some guys for those of us turned on by the idea of a so called straight guy getting sucked by and fucking a gay guy. This is also my hope for the newbie James who will appear in his first "boy on boy" scene with Bobby this coming weekend.
