For oince we have a team we both root for Mike, go Celts!

At one time I was a huge New York Knicks fan and had tickets to their home games for their second NBA Finals series during their championship season in 1973. But today I root for teams with former Duke players on them. And this is a banner year for them.

An ACC record 29 former Duke players began the season on NBA roster. Fifteen were participating in the playoffs. But now Kyrie Irving and Seth Curry of Brooklyn have been elimated. But in addition to Jayson Tatum on Boston we have Tre Jones on San Antonio.

And Brandon Ingram for New Orleans is shining while fellow Dukie Zion Williamson is injured and missed the entire season.

Those three are pictured above. More later.

Yankees are red hot now and I love :smiley-love001:Anthony Rizzo who is tied for the major league lead with six home runs after hitting three on Tuesday.

I Anthony :smiley-love021: Rizzo. I am such a teen aged fan girl. Lol

Finally admitting what we all suspected, Mike!

I never denied it Br! I love my teams and when I find players on my teams hot, I am doubly thrilled. That’s why I created my original sports thread and then this one later. :smiley-love021:

I know, I simply was teasing you in a lovingly manner.

I’m watching Yankees game thinking about how much I like Anthony Rizzo both as a ball player and as a hot dude.

Doing a little online research, I see he showed off his hotness when he played for Cubbies.

Mike, what do you prefer me to call you Mike or Mikey.

I’m watching Yankees-Kansas City Royals game Jay. Kansas City has a 20 year old phenom named Bobby Witt Junior who I find hot.

Mets threw their second no hitter in history tonight! The first was by Johan Santana, while tonight's was a five pitcher combined no hitter!
I saw it kg. They cut into the Yankees game on Apple+ TV to show the final out. But the Yankeees were already up 12-2. Congrats to Buck and the Mets and to their fans.

Interesting trivia in this morning's paper: Buck managed a Mets' no hitter last night, and also managed a Yankee no hitter by a pitcher named Abbott (was he the one handed pitcher?) several years ago.

I correctly thought that my last post would make you happy!
Indeed it does kg, as does the Yankees current eight game winning streak and going into May with the best record in Major League Baseball. The Yankees and general manager Brian Cashman took a lot if criticism this past off season for what he did not do. Well after one month he appears to have taken the right path. But I’ve been around long enough to know that pennants and World Series are won in October, and not April but for now after twenty one games, I am extremely pleased.
