Question about Josh (and Shane or Mike) Episodes page 25

Anyone know what happened to Josh (friend nof Mike)? Only saw 4 episodes with him and Mike, and then Shane - he is so good looking, got fucked twice and then disappeared - did he go elsewhere, or what? Would love to know He is soooooooo pretty!!!!

I don't have the answer Rick, but you are in agreement with many long time members here, and this is a recurring topic on the forum over the years. The general consensus is that his scene with (Porn) Shane is one of the most popular and most discussed scenes that I can remember. Shane gave him the opportunity to discover how much he liked being with a guy.

But the sequel is one of the great disappointments as most feel that the presence of Josh's supposed "real friend" from back home, Mike Robbins ruined the scene as Josh acted differently with Shane in front of Mike.

In my fantasy, Josh truly was a straight boy who may have been curious and he could not believe how hot it was being with hot handsome Shane. But I'd like to think that he never went to another porn studio and his handful of scenes here were so atypical for him, but I can guarantee that he will never forget them either. With no real knowledge, that's what I'd like to think anyway.

With Porn Shane being one of my all time favorites, naturally anyone that loves Shane would quite naturally have to wonder about Josh's status as well. I guess the most I can contribute is that it is my understanding that, regardless of how much the forum wanted to see Josh and Shane tie the knot for all times, my feeling is that this was not really such a done deal as the viewing audience wanted it to be. We all obsessed at the least touch shared by them and an indicator of how really serious both were. My suspicions would probably expect a brief, momentary fling and then that was it. They seemed like such a perfect couple and certainly had our match-maker genes all aglow from the HEAT! they both generated and a lot of wishful thinking on our parts.

If anybody can prove me wrong, please please share!!

Josh/Shane was one of my all time favorites, as I have mentioned more than once on this Forum. And it was the kissing that distinguished it from most other vids at the time. But as I have gone back to those scenes "over the years!" and viewing them now with current scenes that almost requiring lots of tongue, I realized how chaste the kissing was between Josh and Shane. Is that a clue?

I never expected a bevy nof responses like these from anyone on this site - and I am thoroughly amazed and pleased at the same time. What attracted me to these vids were both the inate beauty of Josh - but also the awesome HEAT between him and Shane - it just came across as so genuine and real. I was drawn to these and today actually watched the scene over and over of Shane and Josh kissing and so romantic with each other. I was mesmerized by how intense were the feelings that Josh had for Shane ....... and I was hoping for so much more ... But I will be savoring the moments that I have. Thank you nfor your answers to my query! I am thrilled!!!! Are these four vids of Josh that have been saved? I commend you guys for the honesty and sincerity you have exhibited!!! Judging by Josh's reaction when he got together with Shane, I always suspected he was at least bi curious. Of course, no way could he disclose that to his straight buddy Mike, but there are some feelings you cannot hide on camera and Josh's admiration and ga ga looks to Shane was one.

I bet he has a lovely home and a bf back home now.

David had his own unique style, which some of us loved, while other's did not. But considering that he recruited and hired the models on BSB1, we must give him credit for creating an atmosphere that made the guys comfortable enough to give us some of the greatest performances in porn history, (in my opinion), and so I have nothing negative to say about the marvelous body of work that David produced, and the vast archives of his scenes are one of the best things about being a member here.

Of course, each to his own, but I must say I, too, return now and then to old episodes, many of which are outstanding, and cannot stand David's voice and style. I'm surprised some of those "straight" boys could keep an erection with David punctuating their every move with his comments. I agree, though, he got some great performances out of some of those guys.

I'll take Shane of Shane and Josh anytime.

I enjoyed hearing some back story on all the guys but David's incessant blather and asking the same questions over and over again got really old. I commend him for introducing us to some really hot guys and really hot scenes but they could have used a whole lot less of his commentary. Just my opinion.

I took it as if he was the Gay equivalent of "Archie Bunker", with all his imperfections but he was loved despite them. As tactless as David was from time to time, he wasn't mean spirited or vindictive. It is like his promising Broke Straight Boys newbies in the early days to be paired with women, although that never came to pass.

It is hard to overlook the many classic scenes that he was responsible for filming. And then, there were the "Bottom of the barrel scenes" we were treated to when he left. Like all of us, David was full of contradictions!

Very well put Stimpy. I notice that the folks who seem to have the most criticism for David's style are those who joined the site either late in David's employment here, or after the change was made.

I almost feel as if you had to have been here as it was happening, to appreciate David's awkwardly charming, often politically incorrect style. He was like a dear uncle who the family cringes at some of the things he says, but we still love him, and know he loves us too, and not to take anything he says too seriously.

So I perfectly understand the reaction of folks who did not watch the "Adventures of David & his Boys" as the episodes were unfolding three times a week before our eyes, as a sort of gay for pay porn soap opera. Coming to the site and watching selected episodes of BSB1 without the context would probably annoy me too, and I might say similar things too about David's style.

I kind of like irreverent humor, as long as I do not believe there is any real malice happening.
