Hey everyone,
As if my own health worries weren't enough, Carl and I just found out that my mom has serious liver problems that she has been keeping from us. Apparently she has been losing weight, her urine output has decreased, and is orange in color, and yesterday, we noticed she is developing jaundice. A blood test done this A.M. has resulted in the Doctor wanting to see her tomorrow, if his nurse can fit her in, otherwise first thing Thursday morning. She has been complaining of feeling weak and tired for some time, but refused to tell Carl and me, because we had "too much on our plate, already". Naturally, being nurses, Carl and I are fearing the worst. Her mother and an aunt of hers both succumbed to liver cancer.

Please keep her in your prayers at this time.

Thanks,

Mark

I'm sure Jayman will be sending healing white light to your mom as well as you for your cardiac condition, just as I shall...Thanks for sharing your concerns with the forum--such openness helps bond people because you set the example of sharing the important things in your life, both the joys and the fears. I feel privileged seeing your vulnerability, and know it can't but help people focus on the more important things in life...

God Bless all of you!

Dear Markymark,

When it comes to health issues, you only have to say the word. I will keep all three of you in my prayers! God Bless all of you!

Sincerely,

Stimpy

There is never good timing for situations like these. You know the old saying, "when it rains, it pours." It might be a better idea to take your mom asap to the emergency room. Of course, you are the one there in person to actually judge the situation better than anybody online.

I'm praying for your mom, Mark.

You were already in my prayers, so I will add your mother to the list. I hope your recovery is still going well.

It is hard for moms to ask for help, when they are used to being the one that does the helping. I can understand her situation.

Of Course, Marky! I will keep her in my thoughts/prayers!

On a side note: Is it JUST ME, or has this year been am ESPECIALLY harsh one, when it comes to more serious illnesses, (I am not saying that the cold, nor flu aren't serious.)?

I am Marky Mark I am sorry to hear the news. I will send love and light healing and ask Arch Angel Raphiel and crew to work a miricale for you. My prayers are with you and your mother at this time.

Bless your heart my good friend.

It's now Wednesday at (I think) two in the morning on the Coast and your mother is having a lot of good praying for her done by this excellent forum, but now there's a big jolt being sent out on her behalf from me as well. God and I are pretty good friends without taking each other too seriously most of the time, but this is different. And I know He's willing to hear my pleas for your mother's recovery along with so many others. Please let us know how she gets on at the doctor's and what the results of the analyses are. And tell her there are lots of people she's never met who wish her well and want her to get better.

Love to you and Carl.

Carl and I are grateful for this outpouring of support. I will be going with my mother to speak with her Dr. in the A.M. If I learn anything I will pass it on. Thanks again for all the prayers and support.

My prayers are with you as always, if there is ANY 'golden lining', to your travesty, at least it is her liver, which is the ONLY organ that is capable/able to reproduce (liver) cells, vs, all other organs, (minus the skin), which do not.

Mark I was devastated to hear the news of your Mother as I know how painful worrying about loved ones can be. My prayers will most certainly be with you all in your journey back to health. I want you to know that prayer does work as I have been a witness to many miracle recoveries including my own. Stay strong my friend, and God Speed.

May the Lord bless and keep you and your family in this hour of need. My prayers are with you.

God's blessings of health for you and your family. And Denny Bear is right. I too have seen, first hand, the many miracles provided by prayer.

Marky, with a heavy heart, I am saddened by the news of your mother. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Carl, your mom and entire family as you all find strength in our Savior to put your mom's health in His Loving Arms.

With Love Always,
Gary
