Mmm... This is what I suspected. This administration recognizes the LGB but not the LGBTQI+. Gay republicans who only recognize the LGB are happy about this, but most members of the community are not. Trans people definitely exist, and there are intersex people (it's well-documented).
The State Department, for example, modified a webpage that earlier this week contained information for “LGBTQI+ Travelers.”
All references to “LGBTQI+” were changed to “LGB.”
Aside from shortening the acronym, the content on the page appears to be the same, including a warning noting that many countries “do not have IT systems at ports of entry that can accept sex markers other than female and male.”

Again, he is “flooding the zone” with so much crap that we don’t know what to react to with the most anger or disgust. And as hard to believe as it is, we are still a couple of days away of him having been inaugurated two weeks ago. That leaves three years, eleven months, two weeks and two days remaining in his term…..
Yeah, just like some unethical law firms do a document dump, they hope people don't find the truely evil stuff buried in the chum they are throwing. And for the countdown, we hope it's only that long. I'm betting that they fuck with the laws to change the Constitution to allow the asshat more terms, just like Putin does.
According to the data hoarder subreddit, the orange clown is now directing his minions to wipe LGBTQ stuff including HIV data etc from the govt websites. Next is PrEP on the chopping block, they already have a case heading to the rightwing court.

As folks may recall, Reuters was reporting that Trump would kick back the implementation of the tariffs on Canada and Mexico until early March. That was the last week of January. Reporting was that this leak pissed off Trump so he had his press liar state that the tariffs would go into effect on February 1st. Then it was the 3rd at midnight. Today in the morning, around 9:30 or so, President Sheinbaum [one of our people, Mikeyank!] went on national television and announced that she had a 30-minute discussion with Trump via telephone. She asked him for a concrete list of actual points of concern he had. He agreed to provide one asap. This list will be a basis for a discussion between a team of negotiators from the Exterior Ministry in Mexico and a team from the US State Department. There was no mention of Rubio personally coming to negotiate. In addition, Sheinbaum raised the issue of the serious problem of US organized crime selling and smuggling automatic and semi-automatic weapons to the cartels in Mexico. She informed Trump she had issued orders to provide additional National Guard troops to the border to coordinate with the US Border Patrol on drug/arms smuggling along the border. Trump agreed he would dispatch more federal law enforcement to the border to assist in the same.
BTW, for those who are not keeping score, for many decades Mexico had a law enforcement agency called the Federal Judicial Police [The Federales] which was similar to the FBI/Marshal Service in the US. It was disbanded and replaced by the Policía Federal Ministerial, [PFM] in 2002. During Trump's first term, he made a silly claim to the press that he had made arrangements for the Mexican National Guard to be dispatched to the border and elsewhere to stop immigrant caravans from reaching the US. The only problem there was no such agreement and there was no National Guard. Trump was embarrassed and upset about being lampooned in the press for his outright lie. He took around 30 million US allocated for border security and gave it to Mexico. AMLO took the money, renamed the Policia Federal Ministerial to Guardia Nacional, and deployed them to do the same jobs of patrolling the roads, coastal and land borders, and other areas including airports. Trump having paid Mexico 30 million USD to rename a law enforcement agency because he was pissed the press was poking fun at him in 2018-2019.
Look for a similar announcement from Canada/the White House today delaying the tariffs on Canada with similar silliness. All because Trump was pissed off that someone spoke to Reuters about Trump kicking the tariffs back 30 days,

On general terms, I am all in favor of watching college guys wrestle. That should be done on a regular basis.
So, one of the young men that the deranged immigrant had on the team apparently actually had full read and write access to the Treasury code systems. I have been in IT for a quarter century, I can say without doubt in my opinion that the system should now be totally untrusted and probably be scrapped.
Give a nefarious person who even half knows what they are doing admin access and you can pretty much NEVER trust that system again to be totally free of infection. Accounts can be created, code changed, and software loaded that can allow tampering, logs can be changed/erased, backdoors installed, the list goes on and on. I went to school for programming, and have coded in many languages (Intel assembly, C/C++, Java, C# to name a few), there are so many places to hide stuff in code and obfuscate it, that it would damn-near require a FULL line by line code review as all it takes is one line to load a malicious app to compromise a system; honestly it probably would be easier to rebuild it from scratch.

I am totally ignorant of computer coding and that kind of stuff, but I know that Musk and his team are very dangerous. And now you have me even more scared than I was, Chac. And I have no idea where this is all going to end up. Very scary indeed.
It's the sheer size of it that makes it so hard, needle in a haystack definitely applies here.. If it was one computer that would be one thing, but {I'm guessing here} there are millions of lines of code that would need to be analyzed if they had access to write code. If you Google the lines of code for say Windows 10 operating system, that's somewhere around 50 million lines. It's just too massive to comprehend.
Edit to add: it's been years since I did any real code development, and im definitely not an A1 expert in it, it's just my humble opinion.

SMH, the CFPB has been gutted, that's the agency that helps consumers advocate against the big corporations and more notably the banks. There will be zero protections for the average citizen, your recourse will be through mandatory arbitration instead of the courts since 99.9% of all companies now include an arbitration clause in their contracts. You can't even sue the fuckers if they wrong you. And to make things worse, the "courts" for arbitration are paid for by the big companies so inherently they have a conflict of interest and don't usually rule against them otherwise they would lose business.
