Paul and Damien's Ice Bucket Challenge. . . .

Hey, guys,

And especially Mr. Paul Canon, and Damien Kyle. . . .

I wasn't sure where to post this, but: by now we are all aware of the international "ice-bucket challenge", in which people dump a bucket of ice-water over their head, on YT, to prompt friends to make donations to benefit ALS research. I guess because of the "silly/fun" factor, this has gone viral. . . and I understand the effort has raised something like $40 M U.S. (BTW, I wouldn't do this myself - because there are some dangers involved: especially if you have high-blood-pressure or any kind of heart condition: and some people have been injured by the buckets!)

However, both Mr. Paul Canon, and Damien Kyle did it - and I thought it was lovely that they did something like that, for charity. Hugs, guys, it was really nice to see your high spirits, and good hearts, at work to help people out, this way!!! (Plus, you were a whole lot cuter, doing it, than some of the other people who "took the challenge"!)

Jon, because I have another life besides this one, I don't always scour the entire board before I post, and sometimes a topic occurs to me before it is pointed out to me that someone else has posted on the subject, prior. That's what happened in this case. As noted above, I love Beth, and always defer to her, in terms of threads and subject-matter.

Alternatively (but not in this case) if I feel strongly enough about a subject, I sometimes do start my own thread, so I can present the theme in a way I deem fit - if the previous thread seems to have gone awry. Again, this is not the case in this situation. I simply saw the videos on YT, liked them, and wanted to comment. If I had done my due diligence, I would have seen that Beth had posted previously, and magnificently. But I didn't.
