I really dont think the Chinese would do that this time. The circumstances are a little different. I don't foresee a war anyway. North Korea's leader has delusions of godhood, but he's not a complete idiot. He's just trying to get attention. We should be prepared, but it's unlikely that he will actually go to war with us. His father did the same thing.

I really dont think the Chinese would do that this time. The circumstances are a little different. I don't foresee a war anyway. North Korea's leader has delusions of godhood, but he's not a complete idiot. He's just trying to get attention. We should be prepared, but it's unlikely that he will actually go to war with us. His father did the same thing.
The war in the middle east wasnt a real war... It was real battles, real lives lost, real blood and bullets, however the word on terror isnt a real war- its just a war created by the government togenerate income. Look at history.... What has it told us time and time again? War generates income. What does the government want? Exactly. Dot ge me wrong i believe there should be someone fighting terrorists but our military isnt the group to be doing so. Also, the Vietnam and Korean war- the soldiers didnt even know what we were fighting for... When your off in someone elses land, trying to tell them how to live, its hard to take control and doesnt make much sense... But hen your on your home turf and protecting your home it all makes a little more sense, wed be protecting our homes. So were not screwed.

Liam, the north korean situation has nothing to do with the war on terror or against Al Qaeda. The north koreans have stated for years that they need to protect themselves because they believe that America is going to attack them - well that's what they are stating. No militants here dude, it's an angry country that plows all it's money into the military and then asks the west for food etc because it cannot afford to feed it's own people.

History shows that these kinds of wars do NOT end quickly. Remember when we invaded Afghanistan and everyone thought the was would be over in 6 months, tops? Well, that six months turned into eleven years. America just can not afford another war, not without completely bankrupting ourselves. But neither can we ignore a nuclear attack.
