To the vast majority of you I'm new - although I have a suspicion that some of you will already know me from somewhere else....

It's great to finally be here - surrounded by my favourite Broke Straight Guys... some of which actually post! Heaven!!!

Welcome! It's great to have you here!

Hmmmmm. I have seen you somewhere before. Indeed, I think I noticed you earlier today.

Welcome Quasar! It is about time you joined this sight. I am hoping that you post here a whole lot. Aside from liking what you have to say......I could look at your avatar all day.:welcome:

Welcome quasar. From where else can you be known?

Greetings, Robert

Thanks for the welcomes guys (and gals) :)I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it here - I don't have to 'work'!

I know, I'm long overdue - should have been here years ago! Christian Klien has been the object of my desire for a few years now. There's just something about him. :001_wub: Although his driving career is pretty much crashing, I can't see him being broke enough to try out for Broke Straight Boys.. Damn it!!!

Greetings, Robert
Hi Robert. Apart from BSB TV, you'll find me over at one of Mark's other sites - JustUsBoys - where I've moderated for the last 7 years. Dave
U interest me especially with you comments on Broke Straight Boys TV
Thank-you. Despite some of the comments by the 'Debbie Downers' on the BSB TV Facebook page, I'm really excited about the Broke Straight Boys TV project. The best thing at the moment is that while it's being fine-tuned, some of the comments and suggestions being made on the BSBTV forum are being discussed by Mark and the network - it's not very often that someone gets a chance to help 'shape' a TV programme!
Nice to see you on here quas can I call you quas? Or stick to quasar either way nice to see you on here and the Broke Straight Boys TV forums :)
Thank-you. You can call me quas, Q, quasar, Dave - I've been called far worse in my lifetime! ;)

Dear Quasar,

I would like to personally :welcome9: you to Broke Straight Boys's forum. While I might not already know of you from somewhere else, I am sure you will enjoy as I do the frequent posting of fellow like-minded forumites. And yes, they take the time to ACTUALLY POST! We enjoy a generally supportive membership, but are more than tolerant of and welcome discenting views as well! Our goal is to encourage a free-flow of opinions, both serious and full of fun, on very broad perspectives.

Therefore, I hope your time shared with us will be genuinely enjoyable! Welcome Aboard!:par50: Great to finally be speaking with you!

Sincerely,

Hey Quasar! It is nice to have you here!
Thank-you Beth, I'm already loving spending time here.:)

Hi Dave and Welcome to the Broke Straight Boys forum. So where in the UK are you ? Don't have to be exact but a bit more exact than North, South, East or West LOL
Hi Jon, I'm from, and currently in, North Lincolnshire, but have spent most of my career life in London and Cambridgeshire. :)

Stimpy! :) I've already noticed your missives interspersing the forum (in a GOOD way), so thank-you for your welcome and I look forward to our paths crossing in some of the threads. :)

I always take a shine to "Shooting Quasars"!

Thank-you Beth, I'm already loving spending time here.:)

Dear Shooting "Quasar",

Please forgive me for asking, but with my own screen name being officially placed on all forms of "Official ID"(including my passport), may I assume that this screen name you selected is something other than what appears on all of your "Official ID"? I meant no injury or offense by assuming that you definitely are still capable of...
"shooting"
and you, at the same time, still "Wanna-be-a-STAR" of the "Celestial-type"? Pray tell? Is there but one single solitary drop of truth from whence I speak?

I am quite convinced that no one could possibly have quite as unfortunate a name as "CUMRAG", asking now pensively on bended-knee...(not to be confused with some native American-Indian Reservation OR Casino, either). Am I correct so far?

Regardless of notions to the contrary, "CUMRAG" is, by all rights, a noble name with a noble history, (as in the ever-gracious and absorbent...
Count De Cumrag, at Your Service!

Okay, I would think by now you had time to organize your conflicting thoughts and could proceed giving us something in which we can sink our teeth; teasing masterfully with our seductive full-lips and playful tongue; and bringing you ever closer to spilling out your heartfelt innermost secrets relating to your non-celestial name, perhaps!

N'est–ce pas??? FRENCH TRANSLATION: "Isn't it so"?

I will not implore you anymore at this time, as your brain is probably asking :wtf: just HAPPENED? Maybe later, my dear Shooting Quarsar":001_wub:! Maybe later!

Sincerely under your "magnetic field of influence",

Stimpy

So Rumpelstiltskin you expect us to accept your full name to be Stimpy Cumrag, and thats the name on all your ID's?

Trust and verify. Let's verify this please... Count de Cumrág.

Hi Jon, I'm from, and currently in, North Lincolnshire, but have spent most of my career life in London and Cambridgeshire. :)

You're not all that far from Leeds then. I sometimes have to travel to Hull for work and that's not far from North Lincs. Coffee ??

I'm very glad Quasar has joined us over here also. I have a sense that there is much he could contribute here, just by being himself. :001_smile:

My dear Stimpy, it heartens me to know that others are burdened with the cruel pain of unfortunate surnames. Had you not been forthcoming at sharing this, I would have continued to live in a darkness regarding my own.

'Cumrag' is indeed a noble profession - and a much needed requirement in every decent, clean living household where there's a place for everything, and everything has it's place. You have, at face value, appeared to overcome any dark issues you may have had surrounding it.

Alas, as a young gay man doing his best to achieve decent grades at school, my surname of Clitheroe was mocked by my peers. I'm sure you can appreciate the distress that being regarded as a Clit Heroe caused me during those formulative years.

I can assure you that since adpoting my new name, this Quasar is certainly shooting - and continues to do so - thanks to my 'supermassive black hole'. :)

You're not all that far from Leeds then. I sometimes have to travel to Hull for work and that's not far from North Lincs. Coffee ??
I must admit that apart from going over the Humber Bridge and back again when it first opened, I've never returned to Hull. But it's certainly something to think about! :)

Wow it's long overdue that you post here hehe. Great to have you posting and thanks for everything. Quasar is a great guy and has a lot to offer us here. :)
 Aaw, thank-you kind sir, and you're more than welcome. I'm glad to be able to help out where I can!

I'm very glad Quasar has joined us over here also. I have a sense that there is much he could contribute here, just by being himself. :001_smile:
Oooh, don't tempt me! ;) This 'super-massive black hole' could get into all kinds of mischief! The last time I bent over to tie my laces, we lost the No.24 bus to Chesterfield!!! ;)
