New Studio and New Guys and Facebook Live

Hello everyone,

We have moved to a new 6k square foot studio. This means more sets, more options and better scenes. We also hope this will mean better behind the scenes.

I've been playing around with the idea of doing live feeds from the studio. We did a little test on Facebook live the other day just as a small test. The real test is Friday night 9pm eastern time. One of the models will be doing some magic, we will be introducing 2 new models and you'll get to watch the guys. You can view the event at

This is great news Mark. I had heard rumors and I’m really glad they were true. I hope this brings many more subscribers and interest. I’m excited to see what happens and there were definitely some new cute guys walking around in the video. I hope you do more behind the scenes where they talk about sexual experiences and play games like the old days.

That’s a good idea. I had to log into a different copy of face book to make the link work but later I went to my face book app and liked Broke Straight Boys and now I’m getting the Broke Straight Boys posts. But generally I keep porn off my face book. You are so right the link needs to be to this website not externally to face book or any other outside source. It’s ok to duplicate these links so it shows up on Facebook or twitter but it should be available to members here.

I'm with you guys on this distrust and wariness with FB. They have a sneaky way of trying to be "helpful" by sharing too much. I have a somewhat secret FB account with a very limited number of contacts. Since I'm not out to my whole very large extended family (or even if I were) I would still worry about FB notifying all my friends and contacts that I am following a gay porn website. It's not anyone's business (like aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, random acquaintances in my real life, friends from church, etc.) what I am viewing on FB. But I feel very suspicious that FB will try to share such info with my other FB contacts.

I'd love to watch it live tonight. But I trust Broke Straight Boys much more than I trust Facebook these days. lol Does anyone else see any irony in that? haha Yeah. I trust the scruples and good intentions of the people at my porn site, much more than I trust Zuckerberg and team. That's a sad state of affairs for ya.

A link within the website here to view the show would ease my mind considerably. I don't know Mark if when you say "screen capture" you are referring only to saved screencap pictures from the show, or if you mean a full video recording of it. I am not sure if the results would really represent what the members think about it, since just a small part of the members are in the forum...

But as for me... I think it is a nice idea. It is cool and fresh...

Chuck, on the subject of security. For the last few months when I log into Broke Straight Boys from my iPad, which is about the only place I log in, it has a message up in the browser search field that says “site not secure” in red. It did t used to do this. I haven’t had any problems I know of but I don’t know why I would get that message.

I did watch the hour live broadcast and even though I originally said that Jos Alvarez' card tricks were boring, in retrospect it was an interesting hour to me. They didn't say where the new studio was located but it is probably still near where Sha lives in Atlanta, and it was good to see Mark in the studio.

But I was very impressed with Jos Alvarez, both his looks but more so his personality. He is a bright, articulate, sharp guy and I will now go back and watch some of his scenes more intently knowing him as a person, which was the charm of old Broke Straight Boys for me, where we knew who they guys were from pre sex interviews as well as BTS episodes. I really like Jos Alvarez.

And the new kid Johnny with the glasses is definitely interesting to me. And there was the other new guy whose name I don't remember who said by the end of the week, he will have fucked everyone in the room, (I think he said Sha too, but that was a joke). He wasn't especially hot to me, but I like the idea of a top fucking all the boys.

I hope they do more of the live facebook feeds. Yes the card tricks did get tedious but it was a vehicle to give the guys a three dimensional feel, and that is what always separated Broke Straight Boys from just an X-tube or porn hub clip which we can watch for free.
