I couldn't help but giggle after reading everybody's posts! You guys are a trip. And I'm not offended at all. Brie is short for Brieanne, although I was named after Jane Fonda's character Brie in the movie "Clute." If you're not familiar with that film, that particular character was a prostitute...a fact my mother seemingly forgot to mention to me until I was about 25.

As far as being surrounded by gay men in this forum...it's really no different than my four years of college at a university where half the men were gay.
