I did enjoy some of the semi-nudity during the interview, even if it was not a major reason for watching. I don't recall a specific thread Tampa, but it is a topic that has been talked about a lot over the years as people perceive Ben as acting "gayer" as his time on the site has gone by. So if there is a particular thread I don't recall but it has been a common theme on Ben's various scene threads.

I don’t think there is a particular thread eather. I believe what he is talking about is a group of threads. Every time Ben has a scene, some of us comment that he seems to be getting nellier and nellier. I think it’s his hand motions and the way he talks. Sha, hit the nail on the head. Ben is getting more comfortable. It looks like he uses his hands a lot and gets very animated when talking which we interpret as acting gay, because let’s face it many of us are like that. I guess in Bens case we are reading too much into it. I think it’s also possible that he is picking up some of this from all the gay guys he is hanging out with.

After watching last night's new model introduction I began to think about this BTS again where Sha turned around from the models and looked back to the camera to "us", and said that if you don't want to know the reality of what's going on, it would be a good time to stop the video. He then proceeded to say that Broke Straight Boys started off years and years ago where straight boys were "coming out of the ass", but amended that choice of words to say that it was easy to find straight boys who wanted to appear on the site back then, but that times have changed and lot's of guys do their own cam shows and the like to make money. And so Broke Straight Boys had to adjust and to hire straight, bi and gay guys, (all three types were represented in this video).

My point is that I have to adjust as well, and accept that it is harder to find models in the mold of some of the greats from the early days of David's very believably straight and often very hot guys on his futon and the later days of Clay's often beautiful straightish guys on the various sets both in Florida and later at the mansion in Colorado. Broke Straight Boys is still great value for our money and they continue to provide three sex scenes plus often free bonus 'behind the scenes' every single week. And to fulfill that commitment they sometimes have to hire guys that are available and not necessarily guys that both they and we might consider "ideal".

To me, this is not the "golden age" of Broke Straight Boys, but I still love the site for the archives, mainly for this forum and for the possibility of finding a hidden gem, such as for me a Jake or a Sky who typify the best of what Broke Straight Boys has ever provided for my pleasure. And so I need to remind myself not to get pissed off when a new model turns out to be a "ringer" as my friend ScottA used to call guys who've appeared on multiple sites and basically "done it all" before ever arriving at the Broke Straight Boys studio, or a guy who is physically not a guy who I even want to see naked. That's very well said Mikey.

I don't always find the newer models to be attractive. But I stay with the site because of the forum, the staff who I truly like and respect, and the awareness that there will always be at least a few new models and scenes which I will really enjoy. Like you, I'm at a disadvantage in that I came to the site originally because I'm really into the straight, gay for pay kind of guys. Or at least the straightest looking and acting of gay models.

I've had to adjust to the Broke Straight Boys of the second decade of the 21st century. It's not the company's fault that in this day in age when everybody and their grandmothers can pull up any new gay porn model (on free Tube sites or wherever) on telephones that are now mini computers...that fewer really handsome, truly straight guys are willing to do gay for pay porn. There can be no hope or realistic expectation that a straight guy with a girlfriend (or wife) can secretly do gay porn on the down-low for quick cash, and not be found out by people in his personal life. It used to be that a straight model could tell himself that if somebody sees him doing gay porn, that it means they are a customer on a gay website themselves. Not nowadays.

So we have to acknowledge that and adjust our own expectations. When Broke Straight Boys finds a willing hot truly straight model, or even a hot straight-ish, or bi-gay guy who is very straight acting and looking...I rejoice.
