I think it's interesting that both of the newest models here also have solo scenes at
ActiveDuty in such a short window of time. In fact, 4 of the last 8 had scenes released at
ActiveDuty before
Broke Straight Boys And of those 4, Brad and Dillon have scenes at a bunch of other studios. All that said, I have no problem with any of it.
I care about quality of the scenes. If the model's good enough to bounce around to so many studios, they're probably gonna put on a decent show. And most of the complaints I've read in the forum are about guys not being "straight" enough, which I don't think is really a problem with any of them. It's not as if
Broke Straight Boys was casting the prettiest boys from Helix or something. AD, Men, Bromo, NextDoorStudios, these are all sites that tend to have fairly butch, "straight", performers. (And I'm fine with the prettiest boys they've been casting)
Not to mention that the tide flows both ways. Models that got their start at
Broke Straight Boys have gone on to lots of success with other studios.
Vadim Black and Paul C have been doing quite well (
Brad Banks actually fucked both of them in seperate scenes for
Men.com before he debuted here), and even
Damien Kyle has been staging a resurgence the past months.
Brandon Evans and
Jake Tipton (aka
Zane Tate Anders, aka Zarek) have railed, and been railed by, half the franchise players in the industry. And those are just the guys that are popular now, there are many more. (Durham, Adams, Andrews, Saxon, Kafig,
Johnny Forza, ...)
Lastly, I'll just agree with Johnny. We're all big boys, and we know that these guys are performers, but we don't need the lie for the sake of the lie (if you get my meaning). If a model does an interview that's presented as getting to know them, I personally would prefer if my first impression of them isn't how full of shit they are. Got a porn history? Own it. Straight and need the money? No problem. Masc gay boy who loves sex with gay4pay boys? Welcome. Girlfriend says you're only allowed to do gay porn, not str8? I can't wait to see you take your first dick in the ass! But unless your doing one of the porn parodies that are so popular of late, just be as authentic to yourself as possible. Especially when entertaining a group of people who have in some cases HAD TO be
inauthentic to survive in less enlightened times (or just less enlightened places).
