Thanks Tampa! It's been 12 years since William passed away and the kids are now 23 & 22 and are productive people whom he'd be really proud of. My day to day life hasn't changed much since this post was first started, but his memory is still what fills my heart with happiness of a great time we spent together. I will forever be a widow in the sense I'm not looking for a relationship at all. I however do keep my needs filled from time to time lololol

I'm so glad to know the kids are thriving. For your own life you seem definitively answer the question, "Is it better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all?" For you the answer seems to be a resounding yes.

I also loved your story of when you prepared the first homemade Thanksgiving dinner for William and some of his buddies. :) Though I don't think you shared that story over here on this side. lol

This thread was a nice memory throwback, thanks for reviving it guys :nicethread:
After speaking with you on the phone this morning Peter, I just now did go back and re-read this thread and wow, some powerful stuff was said here and I’m feeling quite emotional. I am reminded why this forum has been so important to me over the past thirteen years. The porn here starting with David and his boys on the futon attracted me initially but the forum with people like you, Tampa, Stowe and a few others who remain from my early days are what has kept me an active member all these years later. And of the course the hundreds of forumites who followed kept the tradition going. As one of the contributors to this thread, Ms K used to say, “I came here for the porn, but I stayed for the forum.” That is still the case with me. Great thread and great forum over the years.

It occurred to me that when I mentioned forumites who are still here from the early days I neglected to mention another1, juanjo and SGVBOB. I hope I didn’t forget any others.

It’s great to see you doing well after all this time. I cannot imagine it was an easy road to keep going down.
