Miserable users ????

If you scroll down the page there is something called.
FORUM READ and VIEW FORUM LEADERS.....
Click it on. Go past Administrators....Then they have a section called.
MISERABLE USERS....
WELL I AM ON IT..I don't know why? I really feel I have NOT been MISERABLE..
I feel Very Hurt and Very Sad..This was my Fun place. If I ever Bitched about anything.
I always tried to do it in a way never to hurt anyone. Something I Loved and looked Forward too
EVERY DAY has been taken away. And being a paying member for at least the last three years.
I would like too know WHY?....Johnny...

I tried to find what you described but don't see anything like that listed. In the admin I checked and you don't have any infractions and are in the same usergroup as other members. Let me know how to find it and I'll keep digging, but I don't see anything like that.

Me thinks you might have somehow gotten access to an internal Broke Straight Boys forum listing. Obviously you are not making this up. What page are you scrolling down to get to those titles? I can't find them on my screen when I scroll down the page I'm on now.

But all of that is irrelevant to the main point which is, johnny, you are one of the nicest persons on this forum. And I have to wonder if you would be on a list of "miserable users" I wonder what the hell is the name of the list I would be on - lol !!!

If you go to the forums, at the bottom there are two links, "mark forums read" or "view forum leaders" if you click view forum leaders it takes you to that page. Took me 3 seconds to find it.

I just noticed. I could see where management might consider me a miserable user since I'm an old curmudgeon; but not johnny - he's way too nice.

Moreover, there are a few other forumites who could make the miserable user list. Right now it's only Johnny and I.

We dont have any odd usergroups, just models, registered users or banned, so very odd that this one was there. Mark and I are stumped on how this happened, or even when.

Thanks Chuck. If your system was somehow "hacked" and this was put in as a sick joke by someone I am glad to see that you will remove it. I guess in this world of technology anything can happen, but the important thing is that management did not do it intentionally.

I can see my making it; I'm an irascible old curmudgeon constantly picking on the powers that be. Johnny, on the other hand, is way too nice. Even when he's picking on management he's too nice.

This was so interesting. . . . ???? I do hope the system is not being "hacked", however; and if it has been, I hope management is double-checking the LOCKS!

As to the individuals named - Well, yes, Stowe - you are an "old curmudgeon", but. . . so are MANY of us!!! What's more, while you and I have had our occasional differences in the past, as I have come to know you better, I've discovered that you have so much integrity; possess a fine critical and aesthetic intelligence, which means a great deal to the forum; and ALSO (despite your 'curmudgeonliness'!) have such a kind, caring, and TENDER side, as well. So, for you to be put on the "miserable" list is a gratuitous insult, which I refuse to accept!

And, Johnny. . . as our friend Stowe has said, and others have echoed. . . you're such a complete sweetheart, I can't even fathom why someone would slander you, in this fashion.

The Internet is SUCH a brutal place, sometimes ~ a place where outliers, and outcasts, and miscreants, feel that they can impose their judgements ABOUT others, UPON others, without fear of consequence. . . and it's the Devil's own work, truly.

All I can say is, if you two are "miserable users", I would be glad to be called and counted one, also; and I'd rather be a "miserable user" than any OTHER KIND - because you are both fine and wondrous gentlemen, and it is a privilege always, to converse with you, here. Your contributions to the board, and the wonderful network of friendship that has evolved here, are immeasurable.
