Well put Dew. I'm always intrigued when I discover just how popular Tyler is on this site. I suppose that Slimvintage has expressed the effect that Tyler has on his admirers, better than I could ever say it.

For those long time forumites, we remember how Casper and Kodda posted more about him than any other model. And one of our own current forumites, Phillionaire is also very much into Tyler.

When Tyler waved goodbye to us at the end of his last scene, that was the end of an era.

Never, Phil, goodbye forever. All those videos to go back to. The quixotic hope that one day you might get to shake his hand in person. Tyler's last video ever was all the evidence necessary for the Catholic clergy among us (I'm sure there has to be at least one member who's a priest lol) to put his (real, not porn) name in for beatification. The guy doesn't like most of the other models, probably including Aiden, probably also because a lot of the people who do gay for pay are assholes in real life anyway. He probably also has someone much cooler than Aiden back home feeding the cat while he has to do, out of loyalty and affection for David and the team, sex scenes that he'd prefer not be in. Long before he waved goodbye from the futon for the last time he had, in his own mind, stopped being a broke straight porn boy and turned into a young professional working for a gay owned and operated video production company. He did it for D&E, but he also did it for us. And the irony of all the flak he's taken for his attitude to Aiden is that he did it for us, the very people who are bellyaching at him just when we should be thanking him for 3 and a half years of bliss. I'm done trying to winkle out of the air the reason he was cool to Aiden. He had his reasons and that's that.

Finally I also know where the forumites who carp about David's and Tyler's banter are coming from. It's a distraction from the real business of a fetish porn site's product. But I feel differently: the relationship between the two of them, which is really the whole Broke Straight Boys story up to now, is so fine, so nuanced, so frank and so much fun, that I for one would love to see them just jam together verbally for an hour and a half, maybe on one of the new sites they're working on together.

Or sing. Has anyone noticed that they both have pretty voices and perfect pitch?

Jon, the reality is that this was the last Broke Straight Boys scene for Tyler, who has been iconic to many of us here, so we have the right to be sentimental, and "act like girls".

He is now actively shooting videos for David, mostly College Boy Physicals, and when not doing that he is doing still photography.

David has stated, on numerous occasions that models have a short shelf life. If you look at when Tyler first started, it has lasted almost 3 years, which in this industry is a long time.

Not every model in every video will have a 5 star performance. There are many reasons why they may not. When I did visit with David, he did share with me stories on how sometime two models just totally dislike to can stand each other, yet they may be paired up in a scene. In some cases you would never know (perhaps the money talks louder that the dislike) and sometimes it does. In one specific case that David shared with me, you would never have know how much the two models disliked each other.

So, while it is easy for us to criticize some scenes, we need to remember we don't know the full behind the scene stories that MAY impact the filming.

He and CJ came closest to spilling the beans but always stopped just short of telling on Dave.

He will have to be proved to have effected a miracle as well. Anyone got any thoughts about that? El Milagro de San Tyler...let's see...

Agree there Ray. If I had "dropped off" at work as Tyler has done in some of his later films, I would have been for the high jump. There is no doub that Tyler can still pull it off - as he did in the first of these films with Aiden, but you have to be consistent when you set such high standards. If you turn up to work with a hangover or a headache, then you shouldn't be there.

We have read all the posts in this thread with great interest. We are somewhat chagrined to realize that some among us have forgotten the elevated position PRINCE Tyler holds... and he has so much futher to go!
Let us be clear, there is no need to debate the issue of Sainthood, or of miracles attributed to his intervention at this time. As wonderful as our darling First Prince is, and, as hopeful as we are to see him achieve even further greatness, we are NOT amused at the thought of his dying, to become a saint. He must be allowed to continue his magnificent work for Blu Media undisturbed by our musings or rampant dreaming. His talent, and style can only bring further success to those he works with. In fullness of time, he will achieve some level of "saintliness" on the merits of his own "Divined" nature.
