Kodi and Rob FUCKIN AWESOME

I honestly feel like Broke Straight Boys should re release this video in the full length with all the stuff that happens that they choose for some stupid reason to edit down to 15 measly minutes.

It's quite likely that there was not much more footage left in the editing room than what we saw in the scene Youngandconfused. The pictures accompanying the video page always start out with still photos of the pre-scene rehearsal. Yes. They always rehearse the scenes before they perform them. The rehearsal is not recorded on video. Only a few pics on still photo cameras record those moments. Then towards the bottom of the pictures section are screen caps from the video itself. In this video there were some major changes to the script when they filmed the actual scene.

In the pics rob rode Kodi and it looked hot. In the video we didn't even see that at all, not even a little it was edited out completely. There's no reason for that. The actually anal lasted 3 mins that's all. I've never seen a scene edited this bad.

The photos turned out to be sooo much hotter than the video. I hate the fact that we missed Rob riding Kodi and a kiss they shared in this position on the video. Good stuff like this can't be wasted; most of us are usually turned on by the kissing. I also love them looking at each other as Rob rides Kodi...yummy stuff, but would have preferred it on video. Tampa, why don't they video the rehearsal just in case some hot scenes like these happen? Then in editing, they can merge the two together.

LOL I'm not qualified to answer that question Beth. That's a question for Clay or highers-up. My inkling is because of cost. It's expensive to do videotaping twice for one scene. Also in practice I'm pretty sure they don't hold those poses for very long anyway. My guess is that it is a very rushed run-through. Just long enough to make sure the models are comfortable and more confident in being able to do each sequence, making sure the video camera, lights and mics are positioned properly for each sequence, making sure the models know where to place themselves for the best lighting and camera angles and so on.

Just the musings and suppositions of a lay person who knows nothing about professional photography and videography. lol

It's the same as if u went to the theatre and only saw half the movie even though u paid 13 dollars to see the whole thing. Either way I'm not angry just upset that we got a hastily put together scene that should have been way better especially when there was pictures that shows stuff that didn't happen.

Yes, I think we are all "lay" people here...but as far as cost, digital filming is the way to go. You can get great quality from a fairly inexpensive set up, down load it to a computer, tweak it and there you go....not that I would know. Just sayin'

.......

Well, we got a BTS with Kodi making CHAD lunch. We got a thread started by CHAD, about how great he thinks Kodi is. The management is leading us into looking for a CHAD/Kodi scene. So it would not matter who was scheduled in a scene with Kodi, or with CHAD, we would have still said we were expecting, wanting, dreaming of, demanding................a CHAD/Kodi scene.

.......

Kodi was making ME lunch. And Chad just happened to be there, as well as Jimmy, who apparently is not into bologna sandwiches. He really prefers Circle K hot dogs.

Oh, CHAD started a thread called "Kodi Bologna" and he said that Kodi offered to make lunch for all the models, as well as CHAD raving about how wonderful he thinks Kodi is.

What the heck does this have to do with the current thread?? Instead, you might have answered , or clarified why the scene sucked as bad as it did!

I agree. Disputing CHAD'S:001_wub: story about who Kodi made lunch for, is trivial in comparison to the legitimate complaints about this video..........which the whole first part of my post was about.:001_rolleyes:

I honestly don't think they care. It's not a huge thing but management could at least answer our complaints as to why the video was so short and edited down to a measly 15 minutes.

Overcooked

"why the video was so short and edited down to a measly 15 minutes"

If you fry Bologna sandwiches any longer... they'll burn!

I do think they care about how the videos are received. I'm going to defend Clay here on this one. He read all of our complaints in this thread. He chose something very non-controversial to respond to in here, i.e...Kodi making the sandwiches. This was his way of letting us know that he is aware of all of our compliments, complaints and concerns about this scene. I doubt he has the time to go searching through the forum to find the Kodi Bologna thread. He wants to just view the threads and responses to his Broke Straight Boys scenes and then get back quickly to his full time job.

This isn't ancient Rome where a general who suffers a defeat in battle must go before the emperor to explain himself. Clay has read all of our complaints, suggestions and feedback for his consideration. That's all we can reasonably ask of him. Whether he ever wants to respond directly to our feedback, whether positive or negative, is totally his choice.

I must also point out that this scene is currently sitting at a 4.3 rating. I've made no secret of the fact that I didn't like the scene. That said, the majority of those who voted DID like the scene. So this video was hardly a commercial failure for which anyone should be held accountable. Whether or not we feel the quality of its technical and artistic points merit the rating it received...even I must admit that this video is actually in the "win" column.

I agree with you Tampa, that Clay does not have to defend his work here, nor should he. As much as I loved it when David would come on the forum and explain his work to us, it usually got a bit ugly, as we all have different taste, and there is no right or wrong when it comes to sex and porn.

As you point out, the "ratings" are favorable, so the "silent majority" who never comment on the forum, must have enjoyed it. That's why Clay or Mark do not always follow the "demands" of the forum, as they are aware that we only reflect a small percentage of their overall customers.

Yes, Clay did read your criticisms, he wrote to Tampa: "I appreciated your original (critical) post. I wouldn't apologize for it. Thank you."

PS: Kodi never makes ME lunch... (Chad and Jimmy refuse to drop in at my place for some unknown reason)

Come on Rob, EVERYBODY has already had "your bologna!":w00t:

No, there is no point in defending this work, nor does Clay need to apologize for it. But hopefully he will see that the rating is for Kodi and that there is a lot to be learned from reading these posts. You know the adage. If one person says you have a tail, you might not look, but if ten people say it, you might take the time to look. :001_rolleyes:
