I honestly do not see anything hypercritical in what Jimmy said about those guys who left here for other gay sites.
He was talking about guys who played the "straight card" here, and went to other sites where they became versatile bottoms, and to Jimmy that proved that they were not as straight as they claimed.
He obviously had worn out his welcome on
Broke Straight Boys, as the overall audience here seems to want to see every model bottom. We went through that whole shtick with Mike R, and Dustin, and
Diesal, Braden, Torin and Tank Shane, to name a few (some of whom never bottomed and others who tried it once or twice and said that would not do it again).
Well Mikey,
You and I have different recollections of Jimmy's putdowns of other models who went to other gay porn sites. I don't recall him specifically zeroing in on the bottoming aspect of it. I thought (and still think) that he put them down for going to any other gay site besides Broke Straight Boys Thus proving how naive we all were in thinking these guys could possibly be straight. To follow the logic of your last paragraph, all Jimmy would have had to do to become wildly popular here would have been to bottom at least once, if not more. I would disagree with that premise. After his halfway mark here and beyond I don't think a bottoming scene would have caused him to become a sensation. He had already poisoned the well.
It wasn't simply a lack of bottoming that drove his ratings and popularity down. He asked to become a gay for pay model. He wasn't recruited off the street. Then once he was hired...after obviously talking a good game and promising great things...he didn't want to do squat. He wanted to be a long term gay for pay model who didn't kiss, didn't suck dick, didn't rim, didn't even pretend to enjoy being rimmed, didn't want to touch another model anywhere other than was physically necessary to complete a sex act, stayed poker faced most of the time and didn't want to emote for the camera.... Preferring to let the other models do most of the real work in his scenes.
The results of that experiment are what we see. If he had stayed around for only 3-6 scenes (even without bottoming) then people's opinions of him as really straight guy trying to do gay for pay porn would have been different.
I'm so pleased to see Jimmy doing well by apparently getting lot's of work in the industry, and still not compromising his principles. I find him to be a charming, handsome young man and I wish him continued success in his chosen profession.
