Input forum from management's side

You bet they have showers in the Studio. They only showed it twice I believe and for the last time with CJ in a shoot updated May 3,2008.Love that guy no matter what other members may think of him.Keep on watching most of his shoots over and over again. His last scene updated was March 27, 2010 and as for me they may bring him up as long as he does porn. Can't get enough of him.

And speaking of bottoming, this is a guy with a totally complete
straight look but who manages this very well.Besides he only topped once(in a shoot updated March 14, 2009 with Tyler riding him;they are friends in their private life so I heard which makes it
even hotter). CJ never kissed.I would ever like to see him do this but if he does not want so be it.Just to mention once more dont try to make models do something against their will because it shall never work.

Ohvanz,

Having been to the studio and been given a tour by David (before things got to the point they don't do this anymore) I can give you some answers.

In the new studio they currently have, there was no shower. While they have a reasonable size bathroom, there is no shower room. At the time I visited, the College Boy Physicals and Broke Straight Boys videos were shot in the same room. Just picture where the futon is and on the back wall was the College Boy Physicals setup. The building they use still had space to be used and some of that became the new studio for College Boy Physicals. They now have room to shoot both of them without crashing into something.

As for the sequence of the videos, they have come a long, long way from where they were. It still is not 100% perfect, but is anything in life perfect? Management did listen to us when we surfaced these issues early on when the forum came into being.

I full support the comments of Tampa and have made similar ones on another thread. I'll say it again, Tyler is responsible for dating the videos and then mailing them to Mark. Tyler's desk is well organized where the videos are kept. So unless he is shuffling them like a deck of cards when he mails them to Mark, I fell confident they leave the studio in proper order.

As I understand it (perhaps Mark can follow-up if I'm wrong), when the videos get to Mark that is where the editing is done. From what David told me, it is not major edits/cuts, but those that might help the presentation. Then Mark prepares the videos for loading onto the site. Mark has stated that sometimes he is the fall guy for them getting out of order.

Mind you, I am not here taking sides but providing some first hand information. Around March of this year I did some threads sharing some stories about my visit to the studio which included some pictures I took.

I hope this answers some of these questions that keep coming back. If you have any other questions on this subject, ask and if I can, I'll get you an answer.

It is unfortunate that David, Mark and company had to stop doing some things due to some crazy members. At one time I along with another forumite were working with David to have a meet and greet and tour of the studio. We were almost at the point of setting the dates, when all hell broke loose as Mark and David have previously posted.

Whats bad about this is that most of you will never have the opportunity to visit with David. He is a really down to earth, cool, guy.

I am overwhelmed by the attention and time you all put in things getting straight. All is becoming clearer and clearer.

The Management should be very happy with you people for the way you guard them and the site. They may sleep on their two ears so to speak.Thank you again and God bless.

In short we were never promised direct communication with mgmt. Even though the forum has provided us this on numerous occasions...................................We were never promised a personal response to every suggestion or question. There aren't enough hours in the day for them to reply to a membership of thousands who have joined the forum. Sorry... But it's just not realistic to expect that.
You are 100% correct Tampa. I was here with you when management implemented this forum onto the site. It was not designed to be a place for us to tell management how to run their site.

According to Wikipedia:

"An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.[1] They differ from chat rooms in that messages are not shown in real-time, to see new messages the forum page must be reloaded. Also, depending on the access level of a user and/or the forum set-up, a posted message might need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes visible."

In the case of Broke Straight Boys, Mark, David & Scorpio have told us that they do read our posts, ocassionaly comment on our posts, and have implemented changes based on our suggestions and complaints. But the forum was not designed as a place for us to "demand" answers or to have management change their philosophies of what to present, or how to present it based on the outcries of a vocal group of forum members.

I enjoy the forum as a place to exchange idea and opinions with others of a somewhat like mind, who all subscribe to a site that features young, good looking, ostensibly straight young men participating in gay sex. I have made some great friends here as well. I enjoy the forum as it is, and hope that it remains basically an open uncensored place to voice our opinions, both pro and con regarding the scenes we see.

I think sometimes I'm gonna have to bite my lip and at this very moment it is bleeding.

I am trained in first aid can I help? Sorry, Jon I couldn't resist... I understand where you are coming from. Hang in there buddy it won't always be this rough.

Jon Dear, why are you biting your lip? And please don't drip any blood on the carpet, as it is so difficult to get out.:001_smile:
I would think that a fine homemaker such as yourself would know what to use to remove Jon's blood stain's from the carpet. :001_rolleyes:

I'm still thinking that you two are secretly married. :scared:

Even though Jon is carrying on a secret long distance affair with some Yank dancer. :tongue_smilie: And even though every bloke down at the pub knows that Jon's wife is banging that scally Slater. :w00t: :001_wub:

Excellent post, as always Mike. Thanks for adding your input, and you're absolutely right when you say the forum was not designed as a place for us to "demand" things. Even though I admit that I myself have been guilty of hoping they would do what we are asking for...which often times they have!

Also, I would like to add that they have always been excellent at responding when you email customer service. Several years ago when I was a new member, and I think this was before the forum was implemented, I emailed customer service with a few suggestions. David sent me back a very detailed, and well thought out reply thanking me for my suggestions, and explaining that they would take them into consideration.

My suggestion is that if you have an issue, especially to the extent that you are thinking of cancelling your membership, consider emailing customer service. I guarantee that they will respond back to you, and they will do whatever they can to correct the issue that you're having as long as it's reasonable.

But back to Mike's thoughts, as he points out they can't always do whatever we wish they would do (or request) on their sites. As much as we would love them to do certain things, they're not always reasonable or even logistically possible. Keep in mind they have to satisfy the entire membership body as a whole, not just cater to individual requests.

At the end of the day, even though Broke Straight Boys/College Boy Physicals are paysites that the management and staff work really hard to bring us week by week, and they obviously have a lot of passion and love for what they do, they are also a business. And as a business they have to pay the bills, make a living, promote the product, satisfy an ever-growing membership base in order to stay a popular, and successful business for many years to cum.
