I am following the forum for a couple of months now and
regret there is very little input from management's side.

Ok David distanciated himself but is there nobody else, let's
say a spokesman,to do it for him.

Fine with me that a dozen of Senior members, who apparently all know eachother personally, comment scenes
in all details and making jokes with one another, but this
cannot have been the only reason for the setup.

Perfectly understand that the management cannot reveal
everything what is going on and to be expected, nor can
they fulfil all wishes but a little bit more feedback from
behind the scenes would give the forum much more
ardour.

Forgive me the expression management but I have the
feeling you just leave the forum for what it is worth and
if I will not see any changes in the near future, I may
still continue to look at it now and then but stop active
intervention.Very sorry.

I'll bet thats got them quaking in their boots!

Ohvanz, I see your point, but I think that perhaps what you are perceiving as a negative is actually a positive. I am only speaking my opinion, but I think that management pretty much leaves the forum alone on purpose, so that we, as members, have more control in the direction. I think that if management spent too much time and effort on the forum, a lot of the members would be intimidated and tend not to be themselves here. The relative freedom we enjoy from management interference gives us all the ability to express ourselves and to be more open with each other. I honestly feel that is what management's intention is.

I also feel that if you have any questions or concerns for management, you can always post it here and it will get a prompt, honest answer. You can also send a private message if you wish. I am not certain exactly what you feel is missing but I would hate to see anyone leave the forum because they feel neglected or overlooked by management. Personally, I would rather have David and Mark and Eddie out beating the bushes finding us more hot boys to look at on the site.

Please don't let the fact that a lot of us on here are "senior" members make you feel less important or inferior. Being a senior member simply means that you have posted at least 100 posts. You are at 38, you will become a junior member at 50, etc. No one on this forum is any more important than anyone else, and members who become junior members who become senior members make this forum work for all of us. Get your feet wet, get in there and go toe-to-toe with us and become a senior as well. Take some more time to get to know us; overall, we are a pretty great bunch of people.

Carking you have insight and are a real diplomate I think.Like this.
Wish I could get to know you guys better but I am not living in
the states and the many events where other members, staff people
and models can be met are too far away for me.This is what is
making me sad sometimes because I am social minded myself the
more as I have been all over the States in my professional and
younger days.Born too soon, let's say.

Now back to the fact that I feel lack of interest on management's
side.Very seldom I see respons to suggestions or complaints.
Let me give you two examples:

1. When I joined the forum, I requested to complete some scenes
by a shower and members reacted very enthusiastic about it.
Never got an answer, let alone see it happen. Is there anything
more simple then this? Why not just do it!

2. Members keep on complaining that the scenes are given out
of order. They dont seem to get this under control in spite
of promises.

To go short I see your point they prefer not to interfere too much
in the forum but they could at least give a sign from time to time
it is followed up.No doubt they do but you dont hear of them.

I feel relieved that I could write this down because it shows I care
about the site, like most of us do.

Thank you Carking for taking it up for management and making
me feel better at the same time. You are a great person I am sure
and maybe I should come back some day to Florida (or Ohio where
you are from I belive) to make acquaintance.

Take care!

Ricky in Broke Straight Boys Orgy

I thought he made the videos with his enthusiasm and cum eating. I would love to see him in many more videos.:001_smile: Dave, by the way I do like you talking with the models. That's how we get to know them more personally. Thanks for considering my input.

Ohvanz, like you, I have never been to an event. I have never met any of the models or staff. But, I have still made great friends right here in the forum.

There are people here that I talk to every single day. There are other people that I love to debate with, share laughs with, compare notes with, or just tease, right here on the threads. If you start reading and posting on the threads, you will get to know people. You will find personalities that you gravitate to, and personalities that challenge you.

Don't let your location keep you from getting involved. I'm on the west coast, but I talk to Spain, Australia, England, New York, Ohio, Colorado, and many other places. On the forum it doesn't matter where you live, and chances are, someone will be on the same time as you, if not you'll have a response when you come back.

Thank you for your response and I look forward to the opportunity to meet you someday, if possible.

There are some considerations for what you are suggesting. First of all, these scenes are shot at least six months in advance of their screening. If David and the others decide to include a shower at the end of the shoot, perhaps that is in the works. I agree with you, either way, someone should have at least acknowledged the question and told you yes or no. Something a lot of us do not take into consideration is the space constraints. If I were to shoot scenes in my home, as many of these scenes are shot in a home, there is not room in my bathroom for someone to take a shower and allow a cameraman, soundman and lighting in the room. It is just not logistically possible.

As for the order of the scenes, there are a myriad of reasons that we might not understand as to why and how the scenes are prioritized. There may be legal issues, model releases, HIV tests, etc. which we do not consider.

Here is where I take up your cause. Once again, you deserve an answer. If you have a question, I suggest that you PM David, his forum name is dande01 and he will give you an answer, either on the forum or in a return PM.

As Ms. Kianna has said, we talk all over the world. I would venture to say that of the 10 most active members on the forum, at least 5 different countries are represented. We are diverse, we argue, we pout (well, I pout) and we love each other. Join our family, please. Feel free to ask us anything, and we reserve the right not to answer if that is what we wish.

Keep posting, my friend.

P. S. I have never been to an event, either. I have never met David or any of the models.

We have had issues in the past couple months so that is why we have distanced ourselves. We have had models privacy compromised, members stalking us etc. So I hope you can understand we are a little more hesitant to post or give out any information. This board is to chat about scenes, make suggestions, comment etc. I have a list of suggestions here when we start filming again. We are busy improving the site and making things better. Most porn sites don't even have a message board to begin with.

Thanks again Mark. I think your comment about chatting about scenes, making suggestions, comments etc is what we all wanted to here and is what a forum is all about. I sincerely hope that those who think otherwise on the other thread read your comment. Thanks again..

Thank you Mark.I understand and appreciate your reaction as well as those of the members. It keeps me to feel myself involved and all
what I said is really not maliciously meant. Now that you confirm
listing complaints and suggestions to make it better, I am motivated to throw another subject into the ring.

Your site is called Broke "straight" boys right and Mike Yank will
certainly like to hear repeated what I mentioned before: Why does
David always press identified straights to bottom against their
nature. I maybe wrong but as to the coming update Diesal will
most probably bottom for MikeR, who has been thanked for his
services for not willing to do so anymore after his 1st experience. You could feel the tension in that shoot which was a miss.I remember David once said Diesal does not like it eighter but he is more willingness and he actually should'nt if this is not what
he wants because shoots like that generally dont succeed.I am
curious.

Besides, did'nt late Dustin Michaels always refuse to bottom
as well (consequently at other sites also as far as I know). This was
his personality and same goes for Austin Grant great in topping, less in bottoming. That exists and I prefer those who resist when it is absolutely not their thing, over the ones giving in under pressure. My opinion and I realize that not all members will agree.

I happen to get more excited by straights or at least identified as
such and stop letting the others pretend they have a girlfriend and not being gay when you see it from miles away.

Yes Ohvanz, I do completely share your feelings about straight guys. To me, this site would be perfect if they only hired 100% straight guys, (or at least guys who consider themselves straight). I love to watch a hot straight guy getting serviced by a gay or bi dude. He doesn't have to suck cock or get fucked to make a hot scene for me. But the vast majority of active posters disagree with you and I on this issue. They want to see the straight guys suck dick and get fucked. They also want the guys to kiss and be passionate with one another. So we are surprisingly in a minority in a group that has "straight boys" in it's name. Go figure.

I doubt Diesal will bottom in that scene. I'd be willing to put money on it. I am assuming it's an oral scene. I bet they will also throw some poor soul in the middle of those two, since in the BTS interview he hinted that they can tear some shit up when you put them together....

Well, I guess showers are out. From what I've seen they really don't do showers. Maybe there are none in the studio?

As far as out of order and length of time to post....... David (David Taylor) on College Boy Physicals right now was introduced as a Broke Straight Boys boy on 2/26 by Dande01 himself. I guess the boy has moved on to other ventures with them before they even posted his first scenes!

Oh well.

You bet they have showers in the Studio. They only showed it twice I believe and for the last time with CJ in a shoot updated May 3,2008.Love that guy no matter what other members may think of him.Keep on watching most of his shoots over and over again. His last scene updated was March 27, 2010 and as for me they may bring him up as long as he does porn. Can't get enough of him.

And speaking of bottoming, this is a guy with a totally complete
straight look but who manages this very well.Besides he only topped once(in a shoot updated March 14, 2009 with Tyler riding him;they are friends in their private life so I heard which makes it
even hotter). CJ never kissed.I would ever like to see him do this but if he does not want so be it.Just to mention once more dont try to make models do something against their will because it shall never work.

Carking is ever the diplomat as you say Ohvanz. Everyone who has something to contribute is welcome here. Regardless of senior, junior or member status.

As for some of the issues raised here I will interject a few thoughts. These are my opinions of course. But I feel that most of them are backed up by the anecdotal evidence. When the forum was set up it wasn't intended to be an inordinate burden of time, attention, money or effort on the part of mgmt. Keeping conversations going and creating a pleasant place for people with mutual interests to mingle, was intended to be left to the members themselves. The forum was not conceived to be a top heavy, management down structure. It was intended to be a low maintenance, self sustaining enterprise. One that would add value for members, while not costing too much money. So as to keep the price of membership reasonable.

In short we were never promised direct communication with mgmt. Even though the forum has provided us this on numerous occasions. The heavy lifting of keeping the forum going is up to us. Mgmt is very busy creating content and running the day to day business. We were never promised a personal response to every suggestion or question. There aren't enough hours in the day for them to reply to a membership of thousands who have joined the forum. Sorry... But it's just not realistic to expect that.

That doesn't mean that our input carries no weight. Mgmt DOES read the forum and keeps abreast of what's going on and being said. So they are not aloof or tone deaf to what members are thinking and saying. There are many suggestions from members that they have put into practice. Even if they have not always replied online to these suggestions directly.

All,

Read the response by Mark in an earlier thread. The mgmt DO read the forum and the forum IS a place where members can put ideas and their thoughts forward. Don't think of it otherwise as that is what ALL forums are all about.

Tampa, this was a very well though out response and I concurr with everything that you wrote here.

You've brought up some interesting points, Ohvanz, and you are certainly a welcome voice on the forum, and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Ohvanz,

Dude you made some really great points. Please do not leave the forum...

I think the best part of the forum is that everyone is different and we all view things differently. The forum is a great place to met new people share ideas and communicate our thoughts and feelings. I have discovered that the real secret to communication is to remain open to new ideas and opposing perspectives. We may not always accept those opinions or perspectives but we can all agree to disagree.

Most businesses periodically send out surveys to evaluate their strengths, opportunities, threats, and weaknesses as well as ask for consumer suggestions. Most times they will implement Linkert Scales, Semantic Differential Scales, or simple questions etc... They then evaluate this data as a whole. Then they make and set goals and objectives based on the input they receive. I have had no knowledge of any types of these surveys being used here on this site. I am not saying that they should do them nor am I saying they do not do these surveys, only I have no knowledge of them if they do. Mgt. does read the forum regularly. So, all of our input is pretty much welcome as long as it is not given or as a personal attack against anyone. Without honest input it would be difficult to decide how best to improve the website and increase customer satisfaction and member retention overall... Also, with the amount of film back logged in the can it may take six months to a year to implement new changes. Otherwise they would be out all of the money they paid the models to make their porn videos.

Here are three of my favorite quotes from Einstine, (Not the dog from "Back to the Future")

  • "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning."
  • "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding."
  • "A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
:thumbup1:

Bless your heart. Thank you for being you and helping us grow...
