Just wanted to let all my forum friends know that J and I are officially engaged!!! We havent set a date yet.

We went on a cruise back in June. He wouldnt let me know where we were going or anything. I was blindfolded on the way there and on the way into the boat. He led me to our room and carried me inside. He sat me on the bed and I took off the blind fold and he was on one knee with a a black box and asked me to be his husband!!!!

My dad told me he didn't want a faggot for a son and practically threw me out of the house.

That's soooo cool. I live in Ohio, too, so let us know when it is and if you need anything. Always willing to support two men who are in love. Edmond and I are waiting until they legalize it in Ohio, then we are taking that trip down the aisle. We have some friends in Canada who were together for 26 years before they legalized it and they were one of the first couples to get married.
