And speaking of William Higgins, his early film work was my favorite of all time until I discovered David Adamson on Broke Straight Boys They both knew how to make films and scenes that "pushed all my buttons".
These are some of my favorite William Higgins classics that I will always remember.
And perhaps my favorite which I actually owned as renting it was not enough for me. I can remember many of the vignettes in this classic.

Mikey I am a big fan of WH and was a member. I had to drop my membership at a time I was in dire need which thanks to my eldest son is no longer the case. I love all his work but moved on to other sites. namely Freshmen & Bel Ami But of course the examples you kindly posted as the above posts are in the present century. TY your postings.

WH moved to Europe and had a second career filming gay porn there until he died a few years ago. The European studio named after him still releases content, but whether it is new or not, I do not know.

Once he moved to Europe I was no longer into his stuff. It was the eighties porn featuring the All American California surfer type dudes that were my thing. Kip Knoll typified the William Higgins look to me.

According to the research I just did on him, he apparently died at age 43 of a heart attack. This is what I came up with.

Kip Noll, also Kip Knoll,[1][2] is an American gay pornographic film actor-magazine model, active in the 1970s and 1980s.[3]
Noll, who was a lean-muscled, free-spirited surfer type, achieved iconic status in the newly liberated gay culture of the late 1970s and early 1980s. After he was introduced into the gay pornographic film industry, he became closely associated with director William Higgins who first had Noll appearing in a few silent film loops in 1977. Noll was cast as the supposed younger brother of actor Bob Noll, and rapidly became the popular "Noll". After his video success, several other unrelated models were presented as his brothers: Scott, Jeff, and Mark Noll.[2] By the early 1980s Kip Noll had become one of the first superstars in the gay porn industry,[4][5] as well as being a regular performer at the "D.C. Follies".[6]

It appears that Kip Noll was actually Thomas Earl Hagen, born in Greenwich, CT, on August 7, 1957. The location and date correspond to information given by Kip Noll in a STALLION magazine ((June 1982) interview. In the same interview Kip stated that he came from a family of ten children and that he had three sisters and six brothers. Hagen's obituary, published in the SALT LAKE TRIBUNE on May 24, 2001, listed nine siblings by name, three sisters and six brothers, two of whom predeceased him. Hagan died of a heart attack at 43 while under the care of he Salt Lake Mission. He had three daughters by a previous marriage.
