Hot Professional & College Sports Guys

I'm just going to pause for a moment to think out loud and mention something that is a bit of an open apology to Mikeyank. When I decided to take this thread and run with it (with pictures of mostly non-pornographic but homoerotic athletes as the theme) a fair amount of thought went into it beforehand. I did very much wrestle with the question of whether I should just start my own new thread and go from there... Or if I should just use Mikey's already existing thread and run with it. At that point I had already posted probably a hundred pics on this thread along the same lines. But when I decided to really run with it (when Covid hit), it wasn't an easy decision.

If I started a new thread they would not contain all the pictures I had already posted. Harvesting those pics from here and re-posting them again elsewhere seemed like a huge task and time waster. So if I started a new thread, those older pics would be stranded on the other thread. While being a small consideration, that was not the primary factor in my decision to stay with this thread. When I was trying to decide if I should just start a new thread, the main consideration came down to the fact that I wanted it to be a thread that felt welcome to all, even if I was one of the main contributors for a while. Mainly though I foresaw that this thread could grow quite large (with the number of pics I knew were out there somewhere) and I did not want to be seen as being egotistical about it. As in people thinking, maybe Tampa created and built up this huge thread so that he could see his own screen name at the top of it every day. Why didn't he take the already existing thread that he started off on anyways, and just go from there?

So I was caught between not wanting to be seen as one who hijacked someone else's thread, but also not wanting to create a new thread with my name on it that might be seen by some or many, as a vanity project. I wanted to see a lot of particaption on this picture thread. And if it had my name on it and I was the main poster in the beginning... I worried that fewer people would post if they felt it was somehow meant to only be Tampa's exclusive thread. So I bypassed my concerns over hijacking a thread...and to give Mikeyank the glory of having one of the largest threads of the site. I hoped he'd be pleased. Only in hindsight did I realize that Mikeyank would have really preferred for me to have created a different thread. So for that I'm sorry to my friend Mikeyank for hijacking his thread.

What's done is done and I can't change it now. I do not however regret seeing him still get his fair share of forum recognition as the original creator of one of the largest threads of the site. Mikeyank's thread truly was the catalyst and inspiration that led me to the idea for this particular theme of photo sharing that we members are still doing and enjoying today. :) So for that idea and inspiration, I thank Mikeyank. :)

Very true, and we all owe thanks to Mikeyank as the creator of this thread, and he was the major post contributor in the first year or two. In fairness to you, it was Mikeyank himself who posted the first 10, 20 or 30 pics of college wrestlers with boners as he was fascinated with how blatant but also either socially accepted or just ignored these mostly straight boy boners were. So that was the context when you first ran with Mikeyank's idea and probably was the reason why you continued with this thread instead of starting your own new one. It is also true that Mikeyank subsequently changed his mind about our perhaps overdoing his idea in his revised view, which of course is his perrogative, and he went on to start his own second thread. So give thanks and credit to all involved!

I was posting 50 pictures a day on this but started posting less on both. Now I post 30 pictures and I video per day here & around 170 on my thread. I still have 3 weeks before my thread reaches bit first birthday so to speak. As an undergraduate way back 100 years ago I had a duo major in statistics & history with a minor in Math & Physics. I could not major in my field hence the math & physics. The history I just loved.

I am very grateful for all you have contributed to Broke Straight Boys But just do what you can in the context of your health circumstances! Even when you scale down, you still exceed most!

Thank you Tampa. I appreciate your saying what you did. Truth be known my preference would have been if you’d started a new thread called something along the lines of, “Hot sports related photos”, as you took it in a direction that was way different than I’d intended. But as we both know, there are no forum police, (at least since Jon left the first or second times, lol). And threads have a way of meandering and often taking on a life of their own. But I did start a new thread called, “Real Sports” for images and discussion of real guys on real teams that interest me.

But I really appreciate your saying what you did. You are a good and thoughtful friend. And I wish you and br well in your continued posting of pics that you guys and kg appreciate viewing!

TY, KG as always for your comments, As to this thread I am glad you kept with it, Tampa.

Thank you for your kindness my friend. :)

The ref's body language is priceless! haha It's like he's an Italian guy gesticulating and acting agitated over the wrestlers stopping the match to play piggyback for a while. lol Of course it's a very sensual pose with the extremely thin lycra material just barely separating the rider's dick and balls from rubbing on the other guy's back. The rider looks ready to man-handle his hot opponent's chest, maybe rip off the top of the singlet, and dry hump into his opponents backside for a while. No wonder the ref seems to be showing signs of shock, embarrassment or even mortified incredulity at the silliness and sensualness of the pose. haha Nice legs on both guys! :P
