Bruce Springstein's son Sam

Yesterday Sam Springstein, age 26 was sworn in as a firefighter in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Proud parents Patti & "The Boss" were there to witness his ceremony.

Here is "Daddy" Bruce in his younger days!

I had a serious crush on Bruce. One of my buddies at uni was the son of an exec at Columbia Records. He showed up one day with one of those DJ records the company handed out and announced "this guy is the next Bob Dylan".

Rob Lowe is instilling a key family tradition in his son.


On Tuesday, May 27, the Parks and Recreation alum, 61, shared a shirtless gym selfie on Instagram alongside his 29-year-old son John Owen. Lowe could be seen wearing gym shorts and no shoes, staring into the camera while he flexed his arms.


His son John Owen posed on the other side of him, wearing light blue jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap. He flexed his arms next to his dad, also staring straight into the camera.


"Lowe family tradition: self indulgent shirtless gym photos," the star joked in his caption.
