Horrific beyond words

I just saw this article about this sweet kid and what his own parents did to him for being gay.

I am beyond words.

That's so horrible. How can people consider themselves good and loving parents if they are prepared to even think of doing something like that? Being people of that selfish and despicable character, the parents should never have reproduced in the first place. Not that I have anything but compassion and sympathy for their son, but they would have been doing the world a favor by remaining childless. :/

That is so sad and disgusting that in this day and age things like that still happen. I feel so sorry for that guy to have such evil, vile parents as your parents are supposed to be somebody you can go to for help and not fear for your own life. My family is severely homophobic so I could never tell them but I know that if the horror ever happened that they found out they would never sink to such a vile act, I may be kicked out and cast away from my family and have to go intro someone else as my carer not that. I also think its disgusting that there are still places out there that say they can "cure" homosexuality as its mot a disease its who we are. My thoughts are with that poor guy and I hope he manages to find safety and peace soon. Dan x

I'm just glad he survived. I could never imagine doing something like that to anyone; let alone my own child. What in the world were these parents thinking? Sad.
