What drives you to start a new thread when one has been established and it is still listed under "Newest Topics" on the members' homepage? Is it ego? Do you have to stand out and call attention to yourself? Are you afraid no one will see your pithy comments if you posted them on an established thread? I notice that you didn't have the guts to call your thread "Tanner and Tyler" because people might ignore it; but "Holy Shit!!" so as to draw even more attention to it as if a completely new topic.

I disagree with you Stowe and don't that Billy committed an egregious act. I think that Billy is a lot of fun and as another newer forumite has called me the self appointed "mayor" of the forum, and so by the power vested in me by myself, channeling President Gerald Ford in regard to Richard Nixon, "I do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Funbilly for all offenses committed on this forum".

Disagree as is your right and wont, mikey! I didn't say he committed an egregious act. I just inquired as to his motivation. He implied he was anticipating blowback, and I simply obliged - lol !!! I note that his starting a new thread on the same subject as one or more threads already started is okay with you and that's fine, but not consistent. You have been known to state your dismay over such a thing from time to time in the past. Perhaps for you it matters who is doing the extraneous posting. Seeing this duplication just struck a nerve today and I expressed my views. I have often wondered what motivated people to do such a thing and I simply gave voice to those thoughts. I'm glad you have granted him a full pardon for all offenses committed on the forum - jocular as that might be, but of course that is for only your sphere of influence, namely your opinions and your posts.

And, by the way, I enjoy funbilly's post for the most part. He just happened to be the one who did this duplicate posting of thread subjects on a day when it struck me to respond to a long time concern of mine. Hell, it could have been you had you done it - lol !!!
