I just HAVE TO say this before Beth does.......Ride operator or Broke Straight Boys model? Both have a big solid handle, that you jerk up and down to turn it on and off, so does it really matter which one calls back first?

I think you're in the right "piston" for either choice. Either way you go you won't be an "idler" and with your "gear hobbing," a "coupling" can not be far behind!
