I've seen several. If you are into anime, some of them can be rather erotic. One of my favorites is about a young, blond American who is hiking through Europe. He is running short of cash and somehow looses his way. He comes to an Inn and asks the Inn keeper for a room. However, he does not have enough money to pay for the night. He and the Inn keeper make an arrangement and they have sex for his keep. He winds up staying there for a week before he heads out again.

These are not cartoons. They are "anime" It is a form of caricature animation of movies such as Cinderella, Snow White, etc. The difference is that the ones your friend mentioned are of a sexual nature.

Hentai is such a weird fetish. While I've found yaoi and yuri to be somewhat stimulating, they at least have stories and background and at least attempt to act out real life situations and characters- they also don't involve my favorite disney characters.

I don't know if this is similar, but I took a quick look online and found these images, and the comic porn can actually be HOT!! Hell, growing up many of my straight friends had crushes on Betty and Veronica from Archie comics, so it is not that far fetched to be turned on by "comic porn".
