Sorry to get all didactic, but people really seem to get confused around new video formats, hardware and software. There is so much mis-information out there (much of it seems to come from electronic store employees eager for a sale...)

Welcome to the forum Sloopy, and many thanks for your insight. My Dell laptop is set at 1440X900 and when I go to change it I get a warning message that by doing so all my images will look fuzzy. I have a very good picture and am using the latest version of Microsoft Media Player. It looks great when I go to full screen mode. I am very happy with Broke Straight Boys's HD, so "hang on sloopy hang on!!"

I use windows media player also and in full screen mode its perfect.
