But answering the question about separating love and sex, I think it's totally possible. I think feeling sexually attracted to a person doesn't mean you love this person and doing something about it doesn't mean you love more or less the person you are committed to... I think open relationships word very well IF both parts agree about it. And in this case it's not cheating.

This thread has had some really good perspectives and responses, so much so that, I'd even forgotten what the original question was? I like your response too because, I believe sex is it's self the release of energy! We build up based on things that stimulate us sexually. The desire to release that energy with another person can be very biological in nature I suppose. When we LOVE someone, that energy takes on a mutual satisfaction, and produces a deeper level of bonding as, it's one of the ultimate intimate experience two humans can have? IMHO.

I have personally determined that LABEL of gay simply (to me) means the exclusive physical and emotional attraction to persons of the same gender. I agree that SEX doesn't equate love in all circumstances.
