Goodbye spencer Todd

How do we know he's gone?
I gather he is, but I've only learnt it from this thread.

I found his first duo scene INTENSELY erotic for the
authentic expression of fear and anger that he displayed.
I've never seen anything equal to it. When he cried out,
"You're taking my manhood away from me" as his arse
was being licked, I cringed and hid behind my hands--but
peeked to witness it.

I found Spencer handsome, authentically masculine with a
deep voice and intriguing twang, with beautiful colouring--his
violet-coloured eyelids and the curly ginger hairs covering
his bum-hole come to mind--capable of showing a distinctly
boyish sense of humour, and a more-than-decent kisser
when so inspired. The girlish beauty of his colouring must
be a difficult burden for someone so intrinsically manly to
bear!

As a consequence of the above, his being fucked is enshrined for
all time in the porn album of my memories, since seeing str8 bois
take it up their poop-chutes is high on my list of earthly pleasures.
I could have watched him get fucked by everybody in Florida and
never become bored.

I'd hate to think he left feeling a failure, or that he was
reviled. I believe he took more risks and faced greater
challenges here than many. To my mind he was a great
success and I sincerely hope he feels good about himself
for what he did here.

Jimmy never realy came out from behind his facade, his persona
; others have come to regard themselves as bi or even gay.
But Spencer was the authentic article.

Come back to the five-and-dime, Spencer Todd, Spencer Todd.
Or PM me.
I'll hire you by the episode for personal use.

You leave with my thanks, my affection, my congratulations
and all good wishes for the future. SPENCER, I DO HOPE
YOU GET TO SEE MY WORDS.

Besos & carinos,
TG

I see that you do not study these forums as a Dead Sea Scrolls scholar would, TG, as I do, but it was actually in this very thread that one of the troupe of performers on this site, Denver revealed that Spencer is "gone" now.
Man I'm glad I didn't on you alls bad side lol. He's gone now so don't worry.

You have to be part archeologist and part tea leaf reader at times, but you can usually get at least a semi-accurate sense of what's going on. LOL

This is an occasion when a comment from Mark would be appropriate..

Yes, Jon, that would certainly be desirable.

Thanks for my two Big Bros for pointing out
how the information was conveyed.

How the world ends, isn't it: with a whimper.

I think Spencer deserved a big bang---and
I mean of the nicest, most intimate kind.

After starting out with such a bad first impression, I see Spencer as one of the biggest success stories of the site. At least in as far as how much he improved up until he left. There may be a slight chance that he still has a scene or two in the can but I wouldn't count on it. :/

Well in the beginning of this thread when I wasn't hear Mark did comment about you having patience with Spencer. But you all choose to jump on the hate bandwagon on the basis of his first film. You are no reaping the consequences. Shame on you all..

Hey,

I see and appreciate both sides of the discussion. On one hand, there are certainly models on Broke Straight Boys who start out nervous, uncomfortable, and even homophobic, but who later shine - and we ought to be patient, and give them time! On the other, Spencer seemed pretty extreme in his reactions, and that made me feel a little uncomfortable - I especially don't like guys who are mean, to, or unappreciative of, JASON, who is so nice and sweet and generous, to everyone.

So, I am OK with whatever happens with Spencer, either way. If he returns and is a little happier to be here, that's fine! But if not, I'll be OK with that, too. . . .

"A" XOXOXOXOXO

I agree with you TAmpa! I wasn't too keen on Spencer at first, but you are right, he made some really hot videos later on, which makes me think it was all an act to begin with.

Jon, I seriously doubt if Mark & Clay make their decisions on who to keep and who to dismiss based solely on our comments on this forum.

As the now absent WebMonkey told us, there are various factors which influence such decisions including the forum, but also emails, twitter comments and the most important factor is the "hits" on a scene, which is something we are not privy to. And there is also the possibility that a model may leave this site of his own volition to either move on to another site for greater financial compensation, or he may just decide to leave the porn industry.

So I do not see this as a situation where we are "reaping any consequences" from our comments here.

So let's suggest hot pairings instead... like a bromance between Jason & Damien :w00t:

What a fitting tribute you leave to Spencer, TG. While my first reaction to the scene was anger at the way he treated Jason...after they gave him a second chance, Spencer did win me over as a fan. If we have indeed seen the last of Spencer then I am sad for that fact. After such a rough start I believe Spencer can leave here considering himself a successful gay for pay model.

I would also send Spencer - Besos, abrazos y mucho carino. :)

That was beautiful TG. I had not seen that, so thanks Tampa for responding to TG, that enabled me to see his post. You expressed my sentiments quite well TG, again, thanks.

I don't see it that way Jon. Mark asked for us to have patience when we were clearly annoyed over this particular video. We pulled no punches in how we felt about this one scene. I really doubt that Mark or Clay would have pulled the plug on Spencer after he did so well later on, just because we were unhappy with him in this scene.

After so many people have complained recently that mgmt doesn't listen to critiques of the forum, I think you ascribe to much power and influence by the forum over decisions of mgmt. haha If the forum alone really had this much influence, then certain models would have had been bought out of the rest of their contracts and been sent packing.

That's fair enough Tampa however, some of the people who slated Spencer at the beginning of this thread, complained that some of us were getting on Alex's and Dexter's back too much. Double standards come to mind...

Jon, I actually see a difference in the nature of the complaining. The anti Spencer brigade accused him of being homophobic and possibly bordering on being physically violent based on his facial expressions, comments and body language. I don't recall anyone fearing that Alex had those tendencies.

Some also resented Dexter's perceived arrogance, but I believe that Spencer's detractors "bashed" him as they bashed only one other very straight appearing model on BSB2, who they may have projected homophobia onto as well. Now both of these models are gone from our site. Women and children, and especially gay men are safe again.

When I look back at the Spencer and Jason scene and then watch him in all the other scenes he does, it is quite obvious that the first one was a set up. Maybe the director decided to put this stance across knowing that it would cause a stir in the forum - Was the forum going through a particular quiet period at the time ? Anyway you were taken hook, line and sinker.

The performances of Dexter and Alex were, in a lot of peoples opinion (apart from your own), well below par for Broke Straight Boys standards and the people that didn't like spoke out. Only for the do gooders who had complained about Spencer, to chime in protecting their "interests".

Dear Jon and Mikeyank,

Concerning Spencer, count me out as being totally clueless when it comes to his proported homophobia. I just felt that many, including myself from time to time, are not really into the muscular body build going with the typically "red headed/fair skin combo" or especially at the beginning. He came on with his strike-force persona as if "the Marines had just Landed" were called into a "special operation" where they were not ever to take prisioners, just shoot on sight and ask questions later. That kind of aggressive behavior doesn't have to be homophobic in nature, but it does errect a barrier between them, their audience, and me.

I am not favorably impressed with overly aggressive body language, no mater how nice the package. If our most highly esteemed and legendary "Logan" had been introduced as being very aggressive, I don't think the forum would have been so enthralled with him either! When I first saw Spencer, my first thought was that he was on Speed or too big a dose of Steriods to blend in better. Gradually I got more used to his red body hair and his persona was turned down a notch or two as well. Then, he was easier to take!

In the end, I could tolerate him but I was never really attracted to him like I feel about Johnny Forza, for instance.

Sincerely,

Stimpy :angeldevil:
