Oh, P.S., Mr.
Paul Canon ~
Maybe I DO have something to write to you, more substantively, after all ;-) I usually only visit the board on weekends, and so I miss a lot of things, in between - and one thing I missed was your amazing, "Get to know Paul", autobiographical, post. It was heartfelt, sincere, and beautiful, and I really appreciated your taking the trouble (and having the confidence) to share your life's experiences with your friends and fans, here.
For the record, I'd just like to say that you are one of the funniest, sweetest, kindest, and coolest people I have ever met. I always kind of thought you would be - or at least, I certainly had that intuition. (I am subject to correction on this point, but I do believe I was one of the first people, if not the first person, to BEG the management to encourage you to post on the board.) And I am SO glad you DID decide to start posting, Paul.
No kidding, every time there is a new
Paul Canon video up on the site, or a new letter from Mr. Canon on the board, it just makes me SMILE. So much cuteness, good humour, friendliness, intelligence, and wit, packed into one single person is simply. . . AMAZING. My boyfriend lives 1500 miles away from me, and has very irregular computer access, and I am just constantly missing him - - - but you are always here to cheer me up, and I really appreciate all you do for me, and ALL your fans.
Paul, I was really touched by all the stories you shared, about your growing up, and all that has happened, in your life. I am so glad that your Mom made a good recovery from cancer ~ though I am sorry that she continues to work with various health problems, and, you can be sure, she'll be in my prayers, always. I am sorry about the problems and struggles you have had in your own life, personally, but feel so glad that you do now know the importance of everything you have in your life. . . and the things that you WILL have, if you keep working on things. Because you are a truly kind, caring, brilliant, witty, and wise young man - - - and you are (believe it or not) making so many people's lives better, just by being the person you are, and caring about others.
It is (for me, and I know for many others) a really special and wonderful experience to get to know you, here: I have boundless confidence in your future, and all the good things you are going to do, in your life. Because you were raised as a good Roman Catholic lad (I am an Anglican, but from the more 'Catholic' part of my church) I am hereby resolved to say a Rosary for you this morning (and frequently, thereafter): and will also look into having a Mass said for you and your future. (I am not even gonna ask your permission for this, because it is just my duty - and all it really means is that you are in my prayers and best thoughts, anyway. The hard work of living a good and happy life is up to YOU ~ but, Paul, you should know there are many people out there who care about you a lot, and hope you succeed in everything you do.)
That's it, that's all, but thank you, Paul. You are really wonderful, and everything you do for all of us, is so much appreciated.
Hugs again,
"A" XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
