This question has come up time and again on the site. I am not trying to defend Broke Straight Boys only offer my own thoughts and what we know to be fact. We have established that some of these guys may have lied about their previous experiences. They don't do lie detector tests at the interviews. Besides it is a fantasy site. David has said that the majority of straight guys they pick have wondered about having sex with other guys too. I think for some of the models coming in this is their first opportunity to explore their sexuality with another guy. Also, I believe that many of these guys are desperate for money. They may feel like the better job they do the greater their chances of coming back and doing more shoots. Who knows. I just enjoy the videos. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.

Keeping the fantasy going

The fact is there are not too many “true virgins” left. When you take into consideration sleep-overs, circle jerks, routine adolescent experimentation, drinking and drugs, fraternity initiations, free internet porn sites, and various porn sites recruiting straight, curious, or bisexual models, what is left is truly too small to measure.

For some of the “first timers” we see on Broke Straight Boys, I have had the occasion to run across the same individual using the same name on other gay sites not connected with Broke Straight Boys When asked if they ever touched another guy or sucked dick or more, their almost universal answer is predictably a "sincere" NO. And we need to realize the process of re-virgination comes about when they sign each new contract for a different porn site.

So, a "fantasy sight" is the only reasonable thing Broke Straight Boys members need to remember. If, like me, you want to believe every word said in their interview, go ahead but don't expect too much. I love picking out models I feel have an inner innocence and vulnerability, like the highly admired Jimmy Slater or more recently Kevin or Ryan. Just like Marilyn Monroe, that inner innocence and vulnerability might be allusive or more realistically a mere delusion. Even so, that is what is exciting and I find attractive to me. I fall for it every time and I am in love again. Enjoy them with all of their varied attributes and fresh qualities. Don’t over analyze them. Simply enjoy whatever they bring to the scene for all that it is worth, and be grateful that you have had the privilege to share in their intimate moments.

I also think cumrag hit upon something we need to consider. I grew up without the internet. I did not have a lot of access to gay pornography until adulthood. Hell, the first VCr's weren't popular or affordable until after I was married. The guys coming in today have had much more sexual education than a lot of us. They have been able to study technique (especially if they were curious).

Also, there is a lot to be said about knowing what feels good when they receive oral sex and trying to provide that to the person on the futon, especially for the Benjamins.

Also, I will offer this and it will probably start a lot of controversy (as I usually do). I think if you take a piece of paper and write the word "straight" on the left hand side, and "gay" on the right hand side, you can try to plot each person on that graph. I do not believe there are very many people all the way to the right or left. I honestly believe that all of us lie somewhere in the middle. Some closer to the left, some closer to the right, a whole friggin' bunch right in the middle.

Anyway, I thought of this before I even hear of Kinsey. The main thing that I see wrong with the whole picture is our obsession with labels. I read forums where someone asks, is this gay or is that gay, does that make me gay? To me, what matters is what you think you are inside.

I am reminded of the story where two guys are talking. One says, "My mother made me a homosexual." The other one, a real flamer, clapped his hands and jumped up and down and said, "Ooh, if I buy the yarn, will she make me one, too?"

Every straight man I ever met had their own perception of what gay is. And, they will do whatever they want ,within the confines of what they consider makes them straight or gay. Remember how Tyler would not kiss at the start? That was his line in the sand. He was willing to take a dick up his ass, jsut don't ask him to kiss. That is the way it is in reality. Straight guys will do whatever so long as you don't ask them to cross their line in the sand. Not a problem! It's all good!
