There are so many reasons why a studio relationship with a particular model ends on a sour note. I know that many of us can be quick to ask the studio to reconsider bringing back someone who appears to have been let go for unknown (or sometimes only somewhat known) reasons. But it's not always the fault of the studio. And sometimes it's a very wise and sound business decision. Since Junior was brought up, I would clarify first that I/we members have only some information as to why he left. We do know a little bit. But not necessarily the whole story. Nothing specific of what I'm about to say here below in the next paragraph is meant to apply to Junior specifically, other than vague "negative consequences."
We know from experience some of the nightmare scenarios that can unfold at the studio which are the fault of, or the negative behavioral consequences of, the models themselves. Some of them may be alcoholics. Sometimes the models may try to bring hard drugs into the house. Or they continually break the rules regarding pot or alcohol consumption. They may break rules of having sexual intercourse with random untested people outside the house after they have had their expensive drug screening tests done. Or they show up to the studio stoned out of their minds. Sometimes they have sticky fingers and try to walk off with company property or property of the other models. Sometimes they have mental health issues like mid to high spectrum A.D.H.D., O.C.D., bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
Sometimes it's for other reasons that are quite justifiable from the standpoint of the company.
If a model is putting the safety and wellbeing of the other models or the staff themselves at risk...or the security of expensive company property, then they have to go. Again, I'm not implying that every model who leaves under circumstances that seem to be strange, unknown and/or disappointing to us members, are always the fault of the models themselves...with no shades of gray in between. Neither will I say that the studio is always blameless when we appear to lose a popular model. They're not perfect. Sometimes they may very well be mostly at fault in some way. But I'm not so quick to place the blame on the studio if we have very little solid info to go on.
