Enough is Enough

Dear Tyler,

I couldn't agree with you more about the thrust of your main point above. More on that point later...

I think most of us can agree that there are few models in here who have gained as much positive regard as Blake. Many of us feel a genuine human connection to him. He has endeared himself to us by showering us with attention, as well as expressing his own genuine appreciation to us for all of our support of him and his continuing career here.

Many of us knew by ourselves already, or even discussed it with others in advance, that if and when Blake ever did BB...especially if it was quickly after the introduction of BB to the site...that the sh** was gonna hit the fan and there would be all kinds of drama. Wailing, moaning, hand wringing, pulling out of hair, and the lamentations of the women. No offense ladies! :) Drama and strong opinions on serious topics are what many of us in here do best. I am using some tongue in cheek humor here to refer to a very serious subject. (The big "A") But really... Who can honestly say that they never saw any of this coming? Many of us care for him like few other models in here. The first time Blake would ever do BB was bound to generate much concern, controversy and conflict.

All that having been said, I still agree with your main point Tyler. Moving forward, I certainly hope that people can avoid the temptation to turn every thread about the review of the scene into another debate on BB. It's a very polarizing issue obviously. Already in this short of a time, many of the arguments of both sides and the middle are becoming cyclical and repetitive. Again I hope that not every review of a BB scene is going to devolve into watching a dog chase its own tail.

That's not to say that anyone should be told that the final word has been spoken on the issue of BB. Nor does it mean that any new person joining the site should refrain from commenting, because the rest of us have already been there and done that. Hopefully though people will start using other threads to express their feelings on the issue. There's also nothing wrong with someone wanting to talk about BB, saying on a review thread, "I'm going to post some comments about this scene on thread X."

You said in a nutshell, everything that was on my mind. I clearly couldn't have said it any better!

Dear Rob,

You know, there is a lot of fairness in your statement above. Those favoring BB just want us to shut up and drop dead. They tell us that it is a reality, so just lump it, like a condom-free dick up our ass! Trudge on without a noticable whimper!

I don't think this is the only solution to this problem. Just as Corbin Fisher has different orientations you can subscribe to, why can't we at Broke Straight Boys have available a BB-Free portal and a BB-only portal where none of us currently subscribing are forced to lose out! It seems that way either side will either have enough supporters or it will die a natural death from lack of customers

When I see a BB scene, all I can say to myself is this is so wrong for me to support. I am not talking from a religious point of view. Obviously, there are very few churches I know of that would approve of either site on moral/religious grounds. BB to me represents a regression in the gay community and our evolution. It reinforces all of the negative stereotypes hypocrits and Religious Zealots use constantly against Gays gaining equal rights in the US and keeping us stuck as a permanent underclass. While I am too old to benefit directly from acceptance of Gay Marriage universally, it is my hope as a life long Gay man that someday there is a chance for other Gay couples maintaining a recognized loving relationship here in the US. Not all gays are into the bar scene or one-nighters.

Thanks for inspiring me to respond to your post! We need to be as enclusive as possible to band together for the benefit of all Gays and not just further narrowing the appeal of Broke Straight Boys to just a few exclusive tastes or fetishes. For those in non-committed relationships, BB is extreme high-risk behavior. I have no problems for those in a long-term, committed, monogamous relationships incorporatiing BB in their sexual repertoire.

Sincerely

Stimpy

Dear Stimpy,

You say everything with such eloquence that I can't even imagine anyone wanting to shut you up.

You know, if EVERYBODY wants to go back to BB, then it's no skin off my dick (if I were uncut, that is). We gays have struggled with every move we have made, and for that we should be proud. You and I (and others on the forum) have seen a lot of changes in our lifetime, and all moving forward to a better life for our people.

But I have also noticed that we can sometimes be our own worst enemy. So much time, sweat and even tears have gone into trying to educate EVERYONE (not just the gay community) that unprotected sex, even in porn, is dangerous. Even with these "new tests", it sends the wrong message that unprotected sex is safe and cool again. It is very disheartening to watch us suddenly and once again start down this road to destruction. What a waste of time we have spent in trying to make this world as safe as could be. I am starting to believe that we, the human race, don't really want safety, but a "cheap" thrill and "let's live for the moment" attitude. When things start getting really bad again, these people demanding BB will be the ones yelling the loudest for safe sex again. It's just tragic that a lot more people must fall, not in ignorance this time, but stupidity, before we get to that moment.

I know that I'm not going to win any friends with this post, but I've never been one to tell people what they WANT to hear, but what they NEED to hear. Wake up, people, before it's too late.

I thought of a word better than "stupidity" in my above post, "unconcern". I tried to change it, but the edit time had expired. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Knowing what we know now, I'd stick with stupidity.

I agree Robb. Thank you for stating that so eloquently.

CDC estimates that approximately 50,000 people in the United States are newly infected with HIV each year. In 2010 (the most recent year that data are available), there were an estimated 47,500 new HIV infections. Most (63%) of these new infections occurred in gay and bisexual men. Black/African American men and women were also strongly affected and were estimated to have an HIV incidence rate that was almost 8 times as high as the incidence rate among whites.

These porn movies are a fantasy... not to be repeated with untested partners in real life. There is nothing wrong to remind us of that fact, if it would save only one member from making such a careless mistake.

That is something different from harassing bareback lovers.

th

Exactly! This is why those tests are conducted and stern warnings given. If people choose to ignore them, the site is not to blame.

Once again, your eloquence leaves me baffled. I completely agree. I don't have anything to add to your well thought out post. I just wanted to make it clear that I completely agree with you.

Thank you Tampa, Robert and Nilla. I will take your suggestion, Robert, and stick with the word "stupidity". To know the truth and do the opposite can be labeled as no less.

I'm in agreement with the opposite side in that I'm tired of talking about this. Our words of (I hope) wisdom have been recorded here and they have either opened some eyes or they haven't. We've done our best, not out of anger or hatred, but out of our love and concern for our beloved forumites and models. It may not have always sounded that way, but believe me, EVERYTHING I said came straight from my heart. I love you all so much, and only want the best for you.

P.S. My children don't usually listen to me either.

Something that strikes me as odd is how much easier it seems for models to have a load shot or pushed up their bum than to take a load in the face? Personally I like facials and I like to see them but a lot of the models really don't like to have them. Is it easier for them to get bred than to have cum shot in their mouth because their asshole doesn't have taste buds? If they're going to start sharing fluids why not go all the way and lets see some mouths full of cum being swallowed and some good facials. Every time someone does take a squirt in the mouth nearly everyone in the forum comments on how much they like it but it rarely happens. Why didn't Broke Straight Boys say this is something new we're going to start doing, they didn't encourage it but they are backing BB full force. It doesn't make sense to me.

Personally I think it is much more exciting to see a guy's face covered with cum than to see it on his butt hole of course that illusion usually goes away pretty fast because the model starts complaining about it and says something funny or bitches and the turn on is gone.

When one guy shoots his load on the other guys stomach just once I'd like to see the bottom guy scoop up the load and use it as lube to jerk off with. Still they find getting a load in their ass more acceptable than touching the other guys cum with their fingers?

When the model gets up from being fucked and he has that big wet mess between his cheeks and running down his thighs does he complain about that or have rude comments about it?

I think we have a double standard here.

Will you marry me?

When they start talking about rimming as the promised land... my head already turns away from the screen, going EWWWWWW!:scared:

I think it best we just stay friends.

But I already bought the engagement ring...
