Emails for Subscribed threads....

This hasn't worked for quite some time. This is where you want to be notified when someone posts in a particular thread. On the page you would select subscribe under thread tools if you want to receive notifications when someone posts in a thread. You might be getting some old notifications but then it should stop unless you are subscribed to a particular thread. If you no longer want to receive the emails just click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

That is correct but you can also click the link on the email at the bottom that says unsubscribe from all.

Great. I think its a good thing for infrequent posters to get notifications. Especially when they ask a question and someone answers them. But I check the forum often and post often and already get tons of email notices so it’s not a good option for me. But I’m glad you are getting things fixed to work like they are supposed to.

What's funny for me is that for the last two days, I keep get sporadic emails from Broke Straight Boys telling me that I have a friends request, but they are all from years ago. Some old time forumites may get a kick out of this one, but today, I got an email telling me:

I went back and looked and the email option was still checked. Maybe I didn’t save it. So I tried that.

I wonder if it is just my settings as I am not getting notifications about threads but rather "friend requests" from years ago. Today I received one from Spartans987. It is kind of nostalgic and it is strange that the more controversial members keep popping up in my emails. But obviously there was some kind of change made to the email notifications by Broke Straight Boys, and it is kind of amusing the things that are popping up in my emails.

On a sidenote as I said to Rep in our last phone conversation, I am amazed how Broke Straight Boys and this forum provides so much entertainment for me, sometimes in very strange ways. It provides friendships, enemies, drama, laughter and even sometimes porn that I get off to. lol

Broke Straight Boys and the forum is kind of like a soap opera and I am hooked on continually checking it out. Long live Broke Straight Boys and the Broke Straight Boys forum. "As The Broke Straight Boys World Turns". LOL. And by the way I try to never take anything that happens here too terribly seriously. For me it is entertainment, an oasis from real life.
