Jon and I often disagree about lots of stuff, but I agree with him on this one (honestly). I found Robert's scene very sexy, sweet, and pleasurable, to watch!

(In full disclosure, I may be a little more into slightly heavier and hairier guys, than some - as I am one of them! Though I appreciate PERFECTION as much as the next guy does, I suppose ;-) But I think Robert has a lot going for him - not least that I think he has a really cute smile, and LOTS of passion, when he gets off.)

But I also think, since this is "Broke Straight Boys", and not "Bel Ami" - it is NICE to see a VARIETY of guys get off on here ~ including some that you might ACTUALLY meet, next door ;-) I TOTALLY appreciate our "icons", like (for me) JASON, and PAUL, and BLAKE, and JOHNNY; and (for others) AYDEN. . . but, since this is "Broke Straight Boys", I also love to see guys like Robert who may not be ready to step into a shoot for Vogue Hommes International, or something, tomorrow! Or. . . who might not seem, immediately, to be completely at ease, or "all-together". (Though I think that Broke Straight Boys may give SOME of these models the chance to GET things together, and begin to make happier lives for themselves: though I'll grant you, this is a business, and not a social-welfare scheme ;-)

In saying so, I mean NO DISRESPECT to lovely friends who might think otherwise, in any particular case - for, as the Romans famously said, "De gustibus non est disputandem". This is simply my opinion, and nothing else. I respect all of your feelings, and aesthetic judgements.

I will say simply, after many years of being on my own - I have come to feel that all SORTS of men are sexy ~ blond and brunet; heavier, and rather slenderer; hairier and baby-smooth: not to mention some poised and charming, and some slightly muddled, and yet figuring things OUT. . . . I have interest in them all. And I am grateful that, at Broke Straight Boys, we are introduced to so many different sorts, of models.

This is a very false and silly way of looking at what Broke Straight Boys (Broke Straight Boys) of any version has been. The question is how does Broke Straight Boys compare with any other sites out there?

So, Broke Straight Boys has demonstrated as good or better models/scenes along with a better price than any other sites out there.

If you were King of Broke Straight Boys, I suppose you could argue that you could do it better; but, the fact that nothing else exists that currently beats it tells me someone who thinks it is so easy to do or find something better really does not know what they are talking about.

As avery great and appreciative member of Broke Straight Boys 2, I thought Robert was just not appealing. I dislike anyone who seems to be on "stuff" of anykind and this seemed obviously apparent. I did not even rate this as there is no place for negative numbers. As to whether BSB2 management people, I think it is alright to try to get different types. As said, one man's boymeat delicacy is another man's boymeat poison.

I can understand your perspective Blue, as you have obviously sampled many different porn sites on the net, and are looking at Broke Straight Boys from the point of view of a comparison shopper.

I have never been a paying member of any of the sites you mention, so I am only speaking of my perceptions of Broke Straight Boys And I am the one who after watching "Desperate Robert's" performance took a few minutes to look at the last two pages, (20 models) of new performer's on the site.

While you may consider an evaluation of the last twenty newbies as being "a very false and silly way" of looking at Broke Straight Boys, but from my perspective as a loyal member of this as my only pay porn site, I think it is a reasonable way to evaluate my experience here with the new models and the scenes.

As many of the same new models that I am not attracted to have received very low scores in the fan voting system, as well as in the "reviews" on the forum, I am still curious to know why there have been so few "winners" among the current crop of newbies. Are there less quality models submitting applications, or do Clay and Mark feel that these are the type of guys that the audience will enjoy?

I am not questioning the level of passion or how great these guys perform in front of a camera, but rather questioning what I consider to be their basic qualifications to appear on this site, such as a handsome face and an above average body, which I consider the main criteria for choosing talent on a male porn site. Perhaps these models are equal or better than what is being provided on the other sites mentioned, but that is irrelevant to me, as this is "my site", and that is what I am interested in.

you are entitled to think as you will. i think that looking a model and recognizing some quality/qualities that pique my interest is a natural thing to do. that the method i use to determine my favorites. one out of six is not bad. how other sites compare has no interest to me. while it is a real and logical way of looking at things how other sites compare was not my question.

Well I'm still out on the postings before a scene issue and all the proof I have is that big favourites like Diesal, Logan and others around that time and those from Broke Straight Boys 2 (which I wasn't around for) didn't post and it certainly didnt affect their popularity.. I'm not saying that they shouldn't post and it's good to see the likes of Paul, Graham and Flint getting involved BUT they have to realise that posting in this section of the site where members are reviewing their performance, can be a rough ride, as not all members like all shoots. Members should be allowed to remain free to post their usual positive or negative remarks within these scene critique threads and not feel throttled in their views just because the actual performers are joining in with the comments. Hope this comes across okay.

I do like Robert a lot and agree with you 100 per cent. Hope he comes back.
