DDOS Attach causing some issues

Hello all,

We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack against our Name Servers that is rendering our site unreachable. The attack is not against us specifically, but against the nameservers at our web host. They have a DDoS Mitigation Firm on retainer and they have been engaged. They have informed us, their customer, that it is taking longer than expected. Normally these are pretty quick but this is a very masterful attacker. Every time the Mitigation Group gets a bead on the attacker it changes. This is why some of you may see it get better and then go away again. They do this every day so they tell is that this is to be expected with a highly skilled attacker. They seem to think that it will not be long before they will have it totally under control. So sorry for this continuing saga. We hope to have it under control very soon.

thanks for the info. I got worried that something happened to the sites. tried to check for info at other info places but thankfully nothing bad was listed then when I saw this message late last night I breathed a sigh of relief.
