Thanks for addressing some of my misgivings directly.
I wouldn't call the finished product you put up only a cold, just-the-fact "interview" though, it's more of a portrait of an unhappy young man at a certain moment in his life. You say it yourself : it wanted to highlight the contradictions that lie between the porn persona and the dissatisfied real-life "Damien Kyle". It had a point of view, a story to tell that obviously was chosen before or during editing. This is a highly subjective view point on someone with some pretty obvious editing strategies. I hope that the models who go through with it realize that.
Which could easily have been squashed by TPTB taking 30 sec to post an update like some have highlighted on other threads. But nobody on the staff had the time. And it made for such good forum drama...
Again why highlight the pot smoking here? Nobody had brought it up on the thread before you did... I didn't have any problem with it, nor the drinking, if not underage. I can understand that some (most?) models are rabble rousers and need to be kept in check while in the studio (while I still can't understand how you can have a whole episode of the would-be series dedicated to models trashing the house without you stepping in to put an end to it. Unless ta da dum... you and TPTB felt it would make for a good TV episode and decided to take a step back early that evening), but you sometimes seem to go out of your way to highlight those behaviors.
I understand that the "he could be a real bad boy if we weren't there" narrative that you (or TPTB?) have chosen for Damien Kyle is a compelling one. But it's not entirely the objective truth, just the one you have chosen to present to the subscribers.
But there is a point of view, from whomever is filming this to whom is in charge of editing it. It sounds to me like Damien Kyle is the victim of the dreaded 'asshole edit' that is part and parcel of any self-respecting reality TV project.
I hope for instance that the Sha-dedicated portrait goes as much for the jugular over his need for counseling and group sessions... Will there be one dedicated to you as well? I hope Damien Kyle is not in charge of editing it after he has seen this one.
Maybe some of those feelings were still lingering on while you were editing this piece?
Just like I can't let go of the "I'm not attracted to black people" comment in the trailer when thinking about Damien Kyle from now on. I am also deeply subjective and I understand not everybody is bothered by it. But I can't help but think that it colored some the unhappy interactions that Another1 seems to have had with Damien Kyle.
I am in no way demanding any wishy-washy work from you on those bts pieces either. That would be boring as others have said before.
However much I seem to berate you in these posts, it is great that you and TPTB are allowing part of the veil to be lifted on the models and the whole Broke Straight Boys operation. It takes real guts, if objectivity is to be applied all around.
The interview is what it is. It shows a conflicted young man who is still trying to find himself, but is on his way.

Kinda like the rumors that have been on the forums about him, one day he has quit and the next he hasn't.

This video echos his every day life and his journey into becoming the best he can be. Damien was especially brave in this interview and I think it showed a young man who has come from a tough beginning, to a man who will do what he has to in order to survive. He chose a path that wasn't crime (he easily could have) and is becoming a better person every day. Smoking pot--it's legal here and we have strict rules about it being nowhere near the house.

(...) There are no hidden agendas in these videos. The goal is to give you a no holds barred look into our models and the staff in order to give our members a look into our Broke Straight Boys family. No other site does that.

It's no secret that Damien really used to work my nerves in the beginning.(...)
