Damiens BTS

that's very cold Jon as he didn't have to do it and I doubt he would of asked to share all of his painfull memories to everyone as after all what gets put on this site is up to the management and I'd expect that they asked them if they would be willing to do it. Also you could tell how painfull it was for him to relive what happened in his life but I think it allows us to know him better and I for 1 commend Damien for telling his life story and for sharing what he had to go through to bring him to how he is today. Dan

Dan, you have to look beyond emotion and understand what Broke Straight Boys are trying to do. If you read MikeYanks latest post on the Ian/Kaden Alexander thread, which incidentally is a great post which hits the nail on the head, then you may understand where I'm coming from. In my opinion, the direction towards the dreaded BSB TV, is the reason for the demise of this site. So now they are trying to keep the interest up by getting more person with the models such as the PC story and now this one.

I would rather see an influx of new guys, with the odd appearance of the current regulars, than these getting to know BTS which, still cost money and time to make.

Ambi,

I find it amazing that you were willing to sacrifice part of your life in order to be there for an online friend. You deserve a medal or something for that. It just makes me even prouder to be a friend of yours. :)

I thought this BTS was amazing. I really appreciate Damien's willingness to share so much with the fans. I find myself being even more of a fan.

Me Too.How old do you think this was tampa?
This BTS was filmed last year. So Damien didn't release it for his personal gain like some members so rudely suggested. However Broke Straight Boys mgmt may have!! lol I find myself wondering sometimes why people don't live by the word "if you have nothing but negativity to say, just shut up". I think this was a heartfelt interview and gave us a little insight of why Damien can be such a hot head. It should be viewed as such!!!

Sorry Peter, but this is a forum after all and not the Damien Kyle and PC show. I see it as I see it and if you feel that is rude then I'm sorry that you do but not sorry for me being who I am.

Wow! - Are you for real?

I have no qualms with anyone posting an opinion on this forum - but when someone such as yourself makes a slanderous statement such as you have, stating that you're sure of something as malicious as you describe, I would really like to see the evidence from which you made this determination.
The rest of your post is strictly your opinion as you see it and that is fine, I don't have to agree with it but I respect your right to have it and express it. But you really should retract an apologize for the opening statement. - Just sayin'

Jasonaz, I thought that first paragraph clearly read as sarcasm. Over some remarks that lead to this post as well:

It obviously missed its mark and for that I apologize to you.

I think we get it now Pascal. :) The written word doesn't always lend itself well to sarcasm, exaggeration or even dry humor. Without the voice inflection and even facial expressions, it's often hard to distinguish sarcasm, from the writer putting forth supposed statements of fact. When I think of masters of dry humor I think of comedians like Bob Newhart for instance. His fumbling, awkward nervousness in saying uncomfortable things would not come across nearly as funny if they were just being read off of a page.

I have to agree with you.

We have done these types of personal interviews with the entire cast of the show and the staff. Even Mark was interviewed about how he grew up and first started Broke Straight Boys It has nothing to do with popularity or lack of it. It's a new series of interviews that helps you to get to know the people in front and behind the camera. It's a series that acts as a compliment to the upcoming show. You'll be seeing more soon.

I'm sure Damien Kyle begged to have this confessional video shot by TPTB and he probably hacked into the server to put it up himself just like he did "leak" the trailer for the series-that-may-never-be... That sounds like such a realistic scenario, there couldn't be another explanation, guys.

What irritated me in the finished video are the very conflicting statements Damien Kyle kept making: "I always said I was bi" then "I'm straight" followed by "I'm bi" again... We also heard "I love my fans" "I don't want to meet the fans" while hanging at the back during Pride. It sounded like a very disingenuous piece of editing from whomever did that. Like it went out of its way to make us understand that seemingly anything that comes out of Damien Kyle's mouth can't be trusted...

I don't know if that's true or not but the finished video seemed to want to hide its true intentions behind a veil of sympathy.

The interview is what it is. It shows a conflicted young man who is still trying to find himself, but is on his way. Kinda like the rumors that have been on the forums about him, one day he has quit and the next he hasn't. This video echos his every day life and his journey into becoming the best he can be. Damien was especially brave in this interview and I think it showed a young man who has come from a tough beginning, to a man who will do what he has to in order to survive. He chose a path that wasn't crime (he easily could have) and is becoming a better person every day. Smoking pot--it's legal here and we have strict rules about it being nowhere near the house.

While filming this interview, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Many of the things he spoke about we didn't even know. He really opened up and that took a lot of courage. Damien is a good, smart, guy and deserves happiness. I'm close to Damien, and he knows I will always be up front and honest with him and I think he respects that. There are no hidden agendas in these videos. The goal is to give you a no holds barred look into our models and the staff in order to give our members a look into our Broke Straight Boys family. No other site does that.

It's no secret that Damien really used to work my nerves in the beginning. However, the day we made this video made me want to know him more and also protect him from all the bad things people would say about him as a result of him being so honest. That day, we became friends. I hope you all like him better and give him a chance to be who he is.

Any bts with a glance of me and a comment from me, is a good episode.

Thank you Tampa, you hit the nail on the head. I must admit I have fallen victim to the same sin, when one is writing, we know how we mean it, when someone else is reading what you wrote, they may not see it the same way as intended, and for that I apologize to Pascal if I came out with the boxing gloves on, throwing punches! - I guess a well placed LOL or haha would help drive the intent of the writer since, as you say we can't see the facial expressions or hear the voice inflections.

Mea Culpa.

Damien is the only model who left me wishing I had gone to the beach instead of a pride event. I understand from his bts episode that he considers Broke Straight Boys fans to be prevs trying to get in his pants. now I am to view him as a troubled youth. I think that viewing your fans as prevs is a fucked up way to view people.

Another1, you've been on the forum as long as I have, and I cannot recall you ever expressing similar feelings toward any other model either that you've met, or even watched on screen, as you are usually very mellow and seem so easy to get along with, so I gather that your experience with Damien was a major bummer.

Perhaps Damien doesn't have that "people person" personality that some of the others do who represent Broke Straight Boys at the events. I met Jason and Blake who were dynamic personalities, and on screen I've watched Kaden Alexander and Paul also interact with fans with the same verve. Your reaction to Damien, another1, is just another "plot twist" for me as I tune in each day to "As The Forum Turns".

Well to start with... I think Damien has a lot of growing to do and sometimes maybe that makes him a jerk in how he treats people. I grew up in very difficult situations that were abusive physically and emotionally. Those situations have molded me into the person I am, for better and for worse. I can be the biggest ass on the planet some days (I will work on that for the rest of my life). But I also can be the most sensitive and loyal person you will ever meet. I work with a person everyday who most of the time does nothing but piss me off. But there's a certain part of me who loves the crap out of him. Some days I'd like to just "throttle" him. But the more upset I get with him the more I care about him. He's a big challenge. Some days I really do want to give up on him, but I think that's taking the easy way out. This person has a huge heart and is really very caring. Most people don't see that. Damien's situation isn't exactly the same but the principles are very similar. If I were to give up on my co-worker, it's almost like giving up on me. Both of us are so similar, at times, it's very scary.

So Damien Kyle, life is a work in progress, we all have our challenges. You keep plugging away at things and let those such as PC and the Broke Straight Boys "gang" challenge you to grow. Life often sucks... but what you make of it is up to you. I struggle almost everyday how to make the most of it... guess you just have to keep trying.
