Congrats Vadim On Being On MTV

Just wanted to give a shout out to Vadim Black and congratulate him on his upcoming spot on MTV's True Life episode!

It was many years ago when I remember watching Aaron James, a model featured on College Dudes 24/7. I think he was one of the reasons I became a member of that site!

Thanks guys. Been eons since I've watched any thing on MTV. Watched Real World until it got ridiculous in my eyes. Same with Road Rules. Liked Spyder Games and loved Daria. First and foremost loved TRL with a young Carson Daly. Had a bit of a crush.

So Vadim Black apparently goes by the name Luke in real life. It could be an anglicized version of his Russian name. Or it may be a name that his adopted American family gave to him.

It may be that no mention is made of Broke Straight Boys which discovered him as a model (and where he found his first fan base) in the first place. If so, that would be a pity. But he is without a doubt one of ours. So I'm thrilled to see him getting some national attention. Since he has willingly put himself out there to be on the show, I hope that the net outcome of this attention will be for the most part overwhelmingly positive for him. Fingers crossed that in the longer term Vadim Black views this decision as a good one, with only a few minor regrets.

He certainly has a cute girlfriend who appears with him. I, too, wonder if Broke Straight Boys is mentioned since Mark insinuated MTV had not advised him before Betu announced it here. I also wonder if the work he does at Men, with another gay for pay star, J. Rapid, will come up. Those two are so prominently featured together I thought they might actually be a couple! J.R. damn near drools when Vadim Black is on set. Vadim Black is the featured model in the sites newest release aboard what looks like a cruise line ship hired out for a period to do an 11-part series called Men at Sea. It is all about Vadim Black in the promo. They trying to steal our boy?

That's one way of looking at it Johnny. The other studios you mention can offer him more money and scenes. Hopefully they are treating him better off-set than other studios he tried out. I always want him to feel safe and to be treated respectfully.

I'm also glad (and grateful) that he still maintains loyalty to the site, the staff and the fans who got him started in the first place.

I agree wholeheartedly with both of you. And, I am still checking off my calendar for the Broke Straight Boys Christmas present scene! I have great expectations that it is going to so much hotter than the Devon scene with Brice Jones. I was sort of hoping the "first time" for him was going to be with his best bud, Vadim Black. But, there should certainly be chemistry in the upcoming scene that I found lacking in this weeks.

Vadim Black talks about his life growing up in an orphanage in Russia and then miraculously making it to America. Then finding a home in a state that he assumed would be pronounced O-hee-O.

Power to you man for coming back. Thanks for performing for us. Just know you're not just a porn star, you're a person. And I'm glad you realize that the fame is hard to cope with, especially at your age. And it took alot to deal with it. Sorry that happened.
