Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is having a lovely life, :)
Im enjoying the calm days before any unpredicted storms hits by, :/

Anyways back to square one, Circumcision does it really matter ?

Me grandad and me great granded were Circumcised, at time circumcision was popular in Ireland,
However the rate of Circumcision declined sharply, starting from me dad generation, and its very rare to find someone circumcised in my generation.

I believe its the same in other countries such as Australia and New Zealand but in a low content.
However its still popular in the USA and Canada, tho its declining but not a big decline,

Yet i ask meself, why do some non-believer or Christian practice circumcision, It would be understandable in the jewish-muslim point of view. I remember my grandad telling me that he refused to "Mutilate" his sons, and likewise me dad to me and me brothers. I read once that some lawyers are trying to ban circumcision for parents to decide in Germany, I think its already banned in san francisco, California.

However, i was interested in why some Christians-Non-believors in America, canada practice this ritual in large numbers.
I was told for "health issues" which been proven that its insignificant, and doctors are still divided on this issue.

Some girls say blokes with uncut penises are more fun in bed, but it haven't been proved medically yet.

Some may say for the view, As a circumcised penis looks better,
I remember one of me mate dating an American girl and later they broke up quick, he was so bothered, he told me she freaked out when she saw his uncut penis. Which i think is appalling, but i should respect where she's coming from, its probably different to what she's used to.

Finally, Im uncut, and im happy with the way i am, but others may have other opinions.

What do you think about it?
Do you think its important? in sex? Porn? etc

Personally, it does not matter as I have no preference to either circumcised nor uncircumcised penis aesthetically or functionally. There are, I know ,those who hold a prejudice toward uncircumcised cocks (I am not aware of anyone with as strong feelings against circumcised cocks and pro uncircumcised ones) I have even heard one say he is "afraid" of uncircumcised penises. This is, primarily, a western hemisphere phenomenon and, even then, seated in the northern part of that hemisphere-in particular, the United States. In the post WWII US, approximately 80% of male children were circumcised. There were various reasons given but health seemed to be the most cited. Looking back, it would not be unreal to believe that the reason was a sympathy the nation felt toward the huge number of Jews who had been martyred and who could, prior to the war, be recognized by their circumcision. The number of male children now being circumcised has dropped ( to about 59%) and may drop a great deal more since 18 states have declined to provide non-therapeutic circumcision to Medicaid families.

Yes it matters, and a lot.
I was circumcised when I was 26 yo, and my masturbations have never been the same. Later I realized why. The glands (penis head) skin is very sensitive when it is covered by the foreskin (prepuce), and some few months after the foreskin is removed, the glands skin turns ticker and less sensitive because it grew keratine.
Also, the inner side of the foreskin is extremely sensitive, probably the most sensitive part of the penis.
Cut penises with ticker glans skin and with no foreskin, have lost two sensiive element, hence the sensitivite and pleasure has to be less.
I can tell the difference since I was uncut and now I am cut. I took a very bad desicion. My penis sensitivity is between 60 or 70% less of what it was.
Also, the foreskin prevents a direct friction between the penis and the vagina or rectum, which supposely helps to prevent pain in the vagina or rectum.
Mother nature is wise and knows her business. If she gave us foreskin, we should keep it.

Good post blueboyyy and a lesson for those who are considering it. I would never get rid of my 4skin..

Well, we have had very heated debates on this forum over this very topic. I hope it won't turn into that again.
I can't say which is better, because I was cut as a baby, and never had the opportunity to know how much more the sensitivity is enhanced with foreskin. However, it is what I grew up around, and what I am accustomed to, therefore it is my preference. To be honest, I found uncut, nasty and foul smelling, not something I'd want in my mouth! I have come to learn that they are not all like that, and I now think an uncut is just as beautiful as cut. At this point, I take whatever I can get, and am happy to have it.

I agree completely JLipps. For myself too, I was circumcised right at birth, and all the boys I grew up with were too, and I had never seen an uncut cock until late in my teens, and it looked "abnormal" to me due to my environment. But obviously we were created with a foreskin and it is the natural way, so I now say it is all good.

You won't see me joining Edward Scissorhands in a restroom...

What a missed opportunity!

Who would have ever thought such a little(varies in size) piece of skin could have such a significant effect. Had I not been circumcised shortly after birth, I would like to think that I would had have more appreciation for it before cutting it off like some unwanted toenail clipping. I love a :dancingpenis: in its natural state and look at an uncut :dancingpenis: with true PENIS ENVY for what could have been! That is why I encourage parents not to make a decision hastily, permanently altering the body that God and mother-nature has blessed him with.

Like so many things we take for granted in life, these permanent decisions cast an unsuspecting infant permanently into a lifetime of always wondering what may have been and how good it could have felt, but never to be answered in his lifetime. When I see an uncircumsized penis, I think that that could have been me but for some senseless, outdated social custom that any father that lent his seed could have known instinctively this was a short-sighted deal being preemptively thrust on someone so very young and unworldly. I call it a crying shame for other responsible parties to not have been more sensitive to the extent this alters one's life unnecessarily, not so badly as female circumcision to be sure, but not a great deal for the young boy either.:stress:

Sincerely have to love those foreskins! To bad a LGBT sports team has not adopted it before as their mascot!

Stimpy :angeldevil:

Do we have lots of Jewish people in here then ?
In the United States it was not a religious issue, in fact I found this fact from a place called the International Coalition for Genital Integrity. "In the 1950s, however, about 90% of newborn boys were circumcised in the U.S. Today, the number is just over 50%."

The Jewish population in the U.S. is under 2% so this is more a cultural phenomenon rather than a religious one.

I think it's just the Jewish and the Muslims that are cut in the uk. JLipps has a point about uncut people with smelly cocks, but the same can be said about people with bad oral hygiene.

What's bad oral hygiene? I don't think we have that in the US.

OK, Ok, I'm taking another pill. lol

Thx everyone for your opinions,

"JLipps" regarding the foreskin bad smell,
It might be due to other factors such as STD,
The problem with foreskin and any "covered area" in body that they are "dermal tissues",
Some "dermal diseases" are uncurable, but the effect can be controlled and reduced by treatments,
But this is rare, if someone clean continuously and have safe sex or With people with std negative he won't get that risk, some cases circumcision might be an option,
However bacteria, viruses and other micrograms might accumulate in the foreskin and to get rid of that bad smell,
Is basically to use warm olive oil or vegetable oil and keep it for a while in this area then rinse the the foreskin,
you may have to apply the oil more then once to get a good result.

Hi, Jamie (and everybody):

Jamie, you know, this has been a SUPER-HOT TOPIC in North America, and everywhere else circumcision has been widely practiced. As Jon noted, amongst Jewish and Muslim families it has been, for centuries, de rigueur for religious reasons - and I shan't comment upon that.

In North America, it was formerly a common practice for hygienic reasons, amongst people who have no religious reason for commending it. Doctors simply thought it cleaner and more healthful, and so recommended it, wholesale - and this trend reached its apex in the late 1950's, the 1960's, and the 1970's. (Of all of my friends in school, Jamie, I didn't know a single ONE who wasn't circumcised - but for a single friend of my cousin, who was born in Holland.)

Lately, a great and FIERCE resistance to this practice has grown up in North America, and elsewhere, where circumcision was practiced for hygienic or medical reasons. For people have discovered and learned that the human foreskin is rich with nerve-endings, which add greatly to sexual pleasure; and that the prepuce protects and shields the glans penis, so that it retains much more sensitivity, during sex.

A whole great lobby has grown up on this continent, urging parents against circumcision on the grounds that it is a form of "genital mutilation" (and people get VERY agitated about it) - and most doctors on this continent now tell parents that circumcision is NOT necessary to prevent infections, or ward off (very rare) penile cancers, as used to be thought an important prophylactic. Certainly, as far as infections go - if people are taught to practice the elementary kinds of routine hygiene that you have described - having a foreskin is clearly NOT a significant risk. Circumcision is no longer paid-for as a routine service by Canadian Medicare, for example.

In the last few years, it is true, real and compelling evidence has been gathered by medical scientists (many of them Canadian) that circumcision can and does reduce the frequency of HIV infection in unprotected heterosexual intercourse. http://www.who.int/hiv/topics/malecircumcision/en/

The reasons are not fully known, but, the hypothesis is that circumcised men harbor fewer bacteria that disrupt immune responses. http://healthland.time.com/2013/04/17/why-circumcision-lowers-risk-of-hiv/

However, these studies largely pertain to groups of men who habitually engage in UNPROTECTED vaginal intercourse; who may not practice optimal (or even suboptimal) levels of genital hygiene; and likely do not speak specifically to gay men, who (if they were having intercourse) would be having anal intercourse, which is a far more vulnerable kind of intercourse, anyway. (And, in which, condoms are still the GOLD STANDARD.)

So, while I think these studies ought to be taken quite SERIOUSLY, I don't think they speak directly to the experience of gay men, in the first world. (Who, I think, by all indications, still need to use condoms, anyway - as MANY gay guys have infected, or been infected, with HIV, by a circumcised partner, in intercourse, in these parts.)

As far as my personal thoughts, Jamie, while I am circumcised, my Dad is not. (They couldn't AFFORD it, in the Great Depression.) And, when my sister was considering whether to circumcise my nephews: I said, "Don't do it! I don't see the need ~ and I think it could needlessly compromise their enjoyment of life, and love."

When it comes to sheer aesthetics, Jamie, I never SAW an uncircumcised penis till I was in my mid-twenties: and, like some others here, it at first looked a little odd, to me - BUT - I have SINCE come to realize (and feel) that an uncircumcised penis is beautiful, natural, and a real work of ART! And I would even go so far as to say that I PREFER the aesthetic of an uncircumcised penis!!! (Thank you, Bel Ami!!! LOL!!!)

On the other hand, Jamie, unlike the hard-core ANTI-circumcision lobby (who assert that circumcision ruins EVERYONE's life, INEVITABLY): I feel that being circumcised has made relatively little difference, in MY LIFE. I don't spend endless hours, sitting by a rain-spattered window, dreaming of my lost foreskin. (Though I guess some people, do. . . . )

None of my boyfriends has ever been uncircumcised, but they have all been exquisitely beautiful - their penises all worked splendidly, looked lovely, and made THEM happy (and me, too). So I honestly don't worry a great deal about this question.

If anyone asks my advice about a newborn kid, I say, "No, DON'T circumcise - I don't think it's necessary. And it might rob him of some of his pleasure, in life." And, I would prefer an uncircumcised penis to play with, and SUCK, in the abstract - but only if it happens to be attached to a PERSON I LOVE!

But I would never kick a guy out of bed for being "cut" - as I am - just for that reason, alone. Jamie, I honestly (honestly) look at a guy's EYES and smile, first and last - and that is REALLY what matters, to me.

Just my thoughts,
"A" XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Ritual circumcision kills 23 men and boys in South Africa
Friday, May 17, 2013
South African police said Friday they had launched a series of murder inquiries after 23 males died while undergoing circumcision during traditional rites of passage into manhood.

The 23 — aged between 13 and 21 — died in various places across the country’s northeastern Mpumalanga province over the course of a week. “We have opened 22 cases of murder and one of inquest,” regional police spokesman Leonard Hlathi told AFP.

One of the deaths was labelled “inquest” because the boy reportedly had an existing health condition. There have been no arrests yet as police compile statements and await post-mortem results. Ritual circumcision is common among South Africa’s ethnic Xhosa, Sotho and Ndebele ethnic groups.

I guess, it would only matter depending on the person and what they like. I for one am very glad that I got it done when I was born. If my mom hadn't made the decision on me getting circum I probably would have been very disappointed cause later on when you get circum i makes it harder for Doctors to cut the extra skin off. But I couldnt imagine if I was uncut how masturbating would not feel as good as being cut would ha.

Cut dicks are more insensitive...

Both sides

That probably had something to do with my not marrying you....I'm cut and insensitive.

Insensitive? Sure you are... but that is one of those things I like about you.

My point is that not many uncut man 18+ decide to have a circumcision without a medical need. Circumcised baby boys just don't know what they miss.

Hot boys and man are my passion. Cut or uncut is of secondary concern; or no concern at all. (unless you die from the operation)

One of the flute players in that song looks a lot like my heart throb, Graham. :001_wub:

That rendition of Both Sides Now was lovely.
