BSBTV Trailer On YouTube

Pascal - I think you will find that Damian is bi sexual - unless I am mistaken.

Indeed Jon, Damien came to the site as a result of his Broke Straight Boys-TV audition tape under his real name, where he said he was bi-sexual from the git-go. (Is that another "old man" reference Peter??? lol).

Thanks for correcting my assumption, joninliverton and mikeyank! I definitely did not know that.

Still people making general statements based on people's skin color is icky to me.

So I hope they drop that particular story line from the show fairly quickly. It makes Broke Straight Boys sound too much like Active Duty otherwise.

Pascal - Damien Kyle said that he wasnt attracted to coloured guys and neither am I. That is not racist - see a thread on the general section - it is a remark based on ones tastes. What is the point of having a fly on the wall documentary if people cannot express their views.

Thank You! :)
Of course Mark, I believe that all fans of the site will do what we can to help promote the TV show, but your post helps reinforce my feelings from another thread that Damien Kyler actually did nothing wrong by supposedly leaking this tape, as it has now become a major marketing tool for the TV show, but regardless I want the show to air and succeed as Broke Straight Boys is one of my favorite hobbies and interests.

Interesting why Mark would forgive him if he did no wrong.
It's called "show business". I am not a wrestling fan, but at my old job, the day after the big TV WWE matches the employees were all talking about this wrestler or that getting "in trouble" with the boss Vince McMahon. Isn't it convenient how Damien Kyle "leaked" the video against the wishes of his bosses, because "he gives" to his fans, but now the owner of the company is using that same video to encourage us to view it and comment on it, and he will "forgive" Damien.

And btw, I have no problem with this kind of marketing and publicity, but I certainly do not take the back story terribly seriously of how it was "leaked" by a "renegade employee" because he loves his fans and is willing to sacrifice to make us happy. To me, it's all show biz, and I just sit back and enjoy the show.

I agree Mikey that Broke Straight Boys is taking a foray into real "Show Business". Therefore the advertising gimmicks and plotlines used should not all be taken at face value, but with a large chunk of salt. haha The guessing of where the facts start and the fiction begins is all part of the entertainment process. While the guessing game can be fun, I'm not going to get uptight or emotionally bogged down in pointing out any of the perceived holes in the plot. I'm content to just enjoy the show...figuratively in the meantime as the publicity tour begins, and literally once the show airs. lol :movie:

the way illusions work is that our brains cannot process everything around us. we see what we think we should be looking at and not what is really happening.
porn is like wrestling. good old entertainment.
the leak brought attention and showed the level of interest.
planned or not, it worked.

Just from one member to another...You make some good posts.Thanks...

I know this might be slightly of topic (I'm not sure as I'm having one of my many thick in the head moments) if it is I apologise but I haven't watched the trailer and yet I still can't wait for the show to start so the constant hype must be working, I just hope that it is made able to be seen over here in the uk. X

Well said another1. I agree 100%. And now on with the show.......................

But wasn't it weird hearing a 'straight guy' saying that he wasn't "attracted to black guys" though? We know he already doesn't go for men, why feel the need to specifically single out a particular skin color?

To me it sounded very much like "black people" which is bigotry.

But we know that US reality shows now have to have the obligatory racist (i.e. this season's Big Brother's Caled it seems), I just hope that's an unfortunate trend that the Broke Straight Boys TPTB have chosen to script into their show as well.

Yes, it was weird to me also. But I see this all the time on social media sites. I always get the reponse "it's like not liking blondes or red heads." But I've never seen a profile that says "no blondes or red heads." I just see "no blacks" or
"no whites" or some other entire group of people.

Going in that direction we could say, no small dicks lol

Another group that is very much discriminated against. :)

Damn, when I did interviews, I always asked the guys to show me their work, not their dicks; learn something new every day around here!:bump:
