I can’t answer for Mark, but my guess is that many of the guys, particularly those who live the straight lifestyle today have no interest in going public again today revisiting their gay porn pasts. They may have wives, girl friends, children, bosses and or coworkers who are not aware of their past. And unless there is a great financial reward, there is a lot more downside to doing it than upside.
Again this is my speculation but Mark, David or Sha have the real answer to your question, br and I’d love to hear their comments on this most interesting subject.

Agree. I might add it takes a man with a strong self image to acknowledge his past and even perhaps admit it is part of him and those around him who truly love and respect him accept it. Perhaps I am just too naive to believe this happens. But then you just have to point to Adam.

Sadly so. I did want to add on an entirely unrelated subject. Broke Straight Boys pictures appear all over the net that I save for my thread & it allows me to remember them . There are just so, so many and then add to the favorite models thread.

Both of these boys were what made their time so great I recognized both just not their names, not got at remembering names but bodies yes! By the way College Dudes has equally great models from earlier times and that alone makes it worth having a membership. I wouldn’t remember all their names if not for the forum, nor would I have remained a constant member of the site since 2008 without the forum. Between the behind the scenes, the scenes and the discussion here regarding the models. They all became individual people with distinct personalities, and often their actions on camera belied their words regarding their sexuality. But mix it all together and it has made for compelling viewing, “Must See Broke Straight Boys”, so to speak…..for me. But without the forum, my interest would have waned years ago.
Well I remained a member just by what I saw. I regret missing the rest but their personalities to a point are reflected in how well they played their roles.
Of course we are entirely different unique men so it is expected that while we have common areas we agree on we also have those we don't. Without this mix there probably would not have developed our friendship.

Yes. I can't pass up an opportunity to mutually gush with my friend Mikey over a great model of the past. Zander Floyd was one of the few gayer models who had an energy, personality and look that few of us could resist falling in love with. And that includes those of us who prefer the straighter acting models. He was a sweetheart and very sexy at the same time. And the camera loved him too! lol He was very well groomed. Plus, there were few (if any) poses or positions in which he didn't look great. haha

I guess that it is difficult to try to explain to those who were not active forumites while we were watching the boys come and go in real time, and discussing them with each other, with management and on occasion, with the models themselves right here in forum land.
That’s why when I see a still of one of the major guys from the past like Zander Floyd or Jason Sterling or any one of a hundred others, it all flashes through my mind like seeing a pic of a former friend, co-worker or a member of my family who I haven’t seen in years. Speaking only for myself, Broke Straight Boys without the forum would make it like just another gay pron site. It adds color, nuance and fills in the missing pieces. The forum is like my CliffsNotes for Broke Straight Boys lol
Agreed! I would never have felt such a human connection with total strangers (the models specifically) without the forum. It really has set Broke Straight Boys apart from the other sites.
