Relying on 1950's TV...
Cher Slim,
Thanks for the kind words. Occasionally people will state that they have been hypnotized by staring at the eyes of a snake. Naturally, since I am constantly being watched by my twins, I guess this must account for my being "double-hypnotized" and the trance thusly induced has a side-effect of cumulatively creating riffs (minus the guitar). I am glad they are pleasing because they can only come from a sick mind out of adjustment just one-half inch from normal. I owe a debt of gratitude to the comedy of the once great Gracie Allen, George Burn's wife, who had all of the correct elements in her answers but just put together slightly wrong. Actually until now, I have never made this association with my riffs and Gracie Allen, but it seems to fit using my logic, not hers.
Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Stimpy
Cher Stimps,
This is one of your best fantasy riffs for sure. You take a subject which is often something made up, about something that was also originally made up, and do a monologue on it The little worlds you create, where all the cross references feed off the invented reality, are fascinating. I'm always grateful when a fellow forumite makes me laugh out loud, and this was one of those moments.
Jayman promised me he'd be back eventually. We all count on that I think.
