First time poster here, FWIW here's my 2 cents:

I absolutely loved EJ in both the solo and with Bobby, and am disappointed he won't be coming back for much more. He's got this incredibly sexy but shy combo that drives me nuts, and the blue eyes are just gorgeous. Is he faking it for the camera? I dunno, but I'm sold. As for Bobby, attractive but didn't really do anything special for me.

Regarding the issue of "honesty", I have to say I personally would cut the guy some slack. After all, ultimately you're offering a fantasy (even though it's based on a "reality" atmosphere), and the fantasy is ultimately only as good as the performer(s). I highly doubt that the viewers here truly believe every guy that performs here is 100% straight and is doing something for the very first time, regardless of what they say on camera. It's all part of the fantasy. There's this one couple (I forget their names) that appear on EVERY "first time"/straight/amateur website there is - it's actually a joke to me when I see them now. You make some excellent points, Rittch69, particularly that this is a fantasy site based in a reality format. And I did check out the Bait Bus previews. Yes indeed the "straight guys" there are not very good actors, and do not appear to be very straight either. But I do believe that some of the models on Broke Straight Boys are truly straight who decide to experiment either for the cash, or with the cash as an excuse for them doing what they do here. But I do believe that some who appear once or twice and then disappear are probably more straight than some of the others.

You insights on Broke Straight Boys are right on target. We want to believe that most of the guys on here are straight first timers. I have no doubt that many are. I try to be in denial of the ones I want to believe are newbies even when I suspect otherwise. The premise of straight gays doing gay for pay is the whole reason we are all here.

Regardless of how they wind up on Broke Straight Boys or any of the other sites; I think the thing to remember is that Like you say it is fantasy first and foremost. I do believe that a fair amount of these guys are straight to a certain degree. However; I would employ the Kinsey scale to determine that more or less. Essentially; we can believe what we want to believe about any model. We can say they are straight, bisexual, gay, or even gay for pay because we intrinsically set standards that we evaluate the models on. Then we project our own opinion on them based on those beliefs. Therefore; I would say if you think they are straight, bisexual, gay or gay for pay it is up to you. However; I don't believe that all of the models lie when they say they are straight. Jayman you are touching on a something quite profound here ; however I think it needs to be said that it is probably a good thing to keep in mind that the videos on Broke Straight Boys (all videos really) have two distinct 'components' to them ; first their is the journey to get the thing produced, guy makes a decision, contact Broke Straight Boys, come in for an interview, gets accepted, start slowly and so on and so forth. Until such time as the camera is stopped the guy's sexual orientation is only as relevant as he choose to make it. What matters is whether the producer deem the product worthy of us, the client. But remember up to the point where the video is posted our opinion counts for nothing.

It only starts to count the moment we watch it. Then the performance/audience interaction starts ; we project onto the video what we want, we choose to believe, judge and approve/disapprove according to our individual tastes. It is entirely the prerogative of each viewer to add to his enjoyment by believing the guy has a Damascus moment of Enlightenment when he gets a dick up his ass for the first time, or perhaps just the opposite, the straight guy is hating every moment of it and is overcome with shame. Either way it is not really relevant to the guy taking the dick up his ass, or sucking it for that matter. It is my personal belief that these guys are getting paid to perform homosexual acts for our enjoyment - their innermost thoughts and feelings are really none of our business.

Having said that, what makes one guy preferable over another I find a most difficult thing to define ; one of my hot favourites is Mike, who is neither straight nor broke. So far that's not happening.

Not my home language either I might add. But nobody is forcing me to watch something that does not appeal ; after all I've deleted all Dustin and Lane's episodes yet indulging in a spot of character assassination about these two, amongst so many, many others provide me with endless delight. Writing paeans of praise to Diesal, Anthony, Mike, Jacob, the Amish boy etc. will be a much more accurate portrayal of my true feelings, but it would be boring. For me the guys who suck (I don't mean that in a good way either) are pure gold in providing me with fodder for the Forum. Oddly enough, it's the Forum, even more so than the eye-candy, that really makes Broke Straight Boys work. For me.

There are few of us in here who would find that odd. We long ago discovered that the forum is the best part of the site. I never expected to stay with the site more than a month or 2. Just long enough to get caught up on all the video content before moving on to a fresh new site elsewhere. However once I discovered the mental stimulation and social outlet that the forum provided I was hooked. The sexual stimulation of the video content became a secondary priority.
