"Bliffin": The Names Mashed, But Not The Boys

The "models over 18" compliance form that begins every scene has the month and year of production in the lower, right-hand corner.

Interestingly, many BSB1 scenes don't have this. Jason once wrote that there was a lot of "porn scripting" that went on back then; I noticed in his first two scenes with Danny & Diesal, there was a running theme with his underwear. He was wearing a very nice pair in the first scene and in the second, had on tighty-whiteys because "the airline (lost) his luggage". But bearing in mind (1) really doubt Broke Straight Boys would have flown him in for a single circle-jerk scene, (2) Danny and Diesal were in both scenes with him and (3) Jason had some kind of wound on his elbow that was exactly the same in both scenes (yes, I'm a super-observant person; always have been) - I think it can be assumed that both scenes were filmed over the same weekend at some point in 2008.

You are an astute observer, Declyn. Putting the dates on the scenes during the day's of BSB1 was a subject that was discussed on the forum back then. As I recall Jon was one of the folks who said that other porn companies did it, so why not BluMedia? Two common forum complaints "back in the day" were dating the scenes, and showing them in the order they were shot.

At the very beginning of BSB2 the scenes had complete dates, as Episode 1 was called "Introducing Jimmy" and said 03/05/2011. However soon thereafter Mark told us on the forum that future shoots would only have the month and the year. He did not explain why they made that change.

And the running themes in BSB1 were due to our host David and his quirky, often weird and clumsy but to me endearing personality. David told us that he had a tighty whitey fetish going back to his boyhood in upstate New York, and he admitted that he often had tighty whiteys for the models to change into before the scene was shot.

I'd be curious if any of the members who were not here, and are first wayching the older scenes now to comment on what they think. I am curious to know what fans of the current Broke Straight Boys think of what I like to call "Classic Broke Straight Boys".

I still love Blake and have become a huge fan of Griffin. This may not have been Blake's best effort, but I think Griffin gave it all he had. Both are excellent models and just different enough to make it wonderful. I gave it a 4 and hope that the speculation of Griffin's departure is way far from fact and I think Blake has a lot more to show and give before he hangs it up. Congrats to both. Love the American Eagles..just wish Blake's choice was a snug fit like Griffin's.

Actually Silver, I had a big smile on my face reading Jon's post, until he inferred that I am a "creepy suck assed member", but Jon and I have bickered and then made up many times over the years. I take it all in a fun spirit, and as Jon may remember I used to get into a lot of worse squabbles with a member first named rifle, and then aquarius. In fact I've wondered at times if Rifle may be back in a third incarnation.

So Silvercamel, this is all fun for me, so please feel free to join in. The more the merrier. After all, it's not serious stuff we are talking about here, it is only porn.

Keep in mind folks that Mike and his suck ass Blake followers have done everything in their power to make him into a Broke Straight Boys icon, they've even tried to protect his sexuality. Mike, you will have seen from recent comments from SC and a few others that a few people actually stood up and liked Lucas and all you and your cronies did was slag him off, just as you did with Spencer when he first came on the scene. Only of course to change your's and your buddies mind when spencer became popular. At least when I come out with a comment about a model I generally stick to my guns and not do a complete change of mind.

It is not the models that have forced some well liked forumites from Broke Straight Boys, it is some creepy suck assed members.

Jon, I don't have buddies who I conspire with to popularize or to make a model unpopular. Unfortunately, unlike KRU, I am not part of a fraternity that sits around watching the films together, before breaking down into little groups to relive their sexual tensions.

And actually my taste in models goes to the very straight, non kissing types like Ayden, Rocco, Jimmy, Logan, Tank Shane, Mike Robbins, Jordan and even early Dustin, to name some that are my type.

I will thank Jason and Blake until my dying day for treating me so specially at Gay Pride in New York in 2012. I will never forget Blake's attentiveness and how he made me feel special. I will always love him for that. However, Blake isn't my ideal physical type on the site. I actually liked Spencer's attitude when he first arrived, but of course he was told to change his tune, but I am the one who likes the straight, don't want to get fucked and don't really like sucking dick either, type.

Blake always was and always will be a favorite. That said, I was disappointed in scene as I am not a fan of griffin. Just too chunky for my tastes.Also, apologies to Blake for my crack about giving Texas back to Mexico. I know he is texan and there are exceptions to every rule. Hope he is not a follower of Cruz and wish Blake would get back on forum.

This scene would have been way better with Griffin as the top. Blake was good but the pairing was I dunno just off somehow. Griffin has that hot football player bod that would have been great giving Blake a sweet power fuck (hmmm I wonder if Blake would have liked that?) And I know I've said this before but couch sex is just awkward. Unless that couch is going to flatten out into a futon lose it. Just my opinion.

I have not made a negative remark about Blake for some time however, I just said today that I thought his time was up. Your inconsistencies are obvious in the fact that you never jump to the defence of other models when people say on here, get rid or ditch etc etc (Johnny Forza for example). And don't even put Jason in the same sentence as Blake, he is way too classy. And to be honest Lucas is not one of my favourite models, I just felt that he was treated unfairly AND very similar to Spencer when he came on the scene. It's not their fault if they are encouraged to "act" the way they do, which I believe is all scripted.

He is a little skinnier than my usual type but no biggie. Of course unlike some pissy things if I do not really care for a model I simply mention that and do not engage in nasty personal attacks on them. But hey, knock your socks off.

Mikey - keep up the great attitude. And I think you have a certain toffee nosed English queen pegged perfectly. He has no problem handing out attitude but simply cannot handle it when it is handed back to him in equal measure.

Oh child, you are so young...and have so much to learn to observe.... Trust me, I get WAY creepier than you when it comes to annotations. I also: check for crooked pictures, out of place materials or items placed in the room; sheet sets used; pillows used; lube amounts; underwear models wear; clothing models wear; any body imperfections, such as bruises, cuts, tattoos, hair cuts and lengths; facial hair; banter between the models, inside jokes, looks or grins they give one another; comments from the videographer. Basically, any connections I see that make it appear that the model has been "hanging out" for a while and is doing another scene.

The scene that we got a peek a boo with Paul and Denver (before it disappeared) the board with the post-it's with the various sayings ie: "I'm fucked, literally" that appeared obviously in the Paul, Johnny, Abel scene recently. Did you happen to notice that board in the "coming soon" shot of P&D? If so (I'm quite sure I did) that was a newer scene. The studio was remodeled after Paul started his scenes but after we saw Denver's last one.

You're on the right track Betu. lol The P&D is a newer scene based on several criteria that you mentioned. At the very least it was filmed in the newer studio in Colorado. Even Denver's last BTS vid seems to have been filmed in Florida.

I agree that this scene was not his best in any way. Blake did not seem to enjoy himself as much as he usually does. He did seem bored and not that excited. I also agree Blake has personally turned into a better bottom then a top. Griffin surprises me and turns me on more then most guys with his build do. I also think the positions sucked until Blake flipped him on his back then it was Better.

If people do not like a scene then this is the place to put those comments Ian and that is simply because there is nowhere else. Unless of course you are going to disclose the address of Mark's chateaux so we can all mail the responses instead. lol

I consider it banter Jon. As I've said over and over, we are not discussing life and death matters here, but we are discussing porn. Believe it or not Jon, I do like you, but I find that your sense of pompousness and hypocrisy need to be kept in check at times. (And I'm sure you have similar flattering words to describe me too. ).

And I agree with you Jon, that I wish that Peter was more involved on the forum, if for just the reason that every time he posts I get to gaze at "my hero", the ultra handsome and sexy Tank Shane.
